  Canceled 2 hours before the dinner. Asked about rescheduling but then never responded to a request to reschedule via email or WhatsApp. Still had dates up on the website that they clearly were not going to actually sail on. My guess is they only get enough people on cruise-ship days - which is fine, just tell your customers that with proper notice!

  Unfortunately, we couldn’t attend due to someone in our party getting sick the morning of. Company will stand by their nonrefundable payment policy. I’d suggest booking the day of if you don’t want to lose out.

  I surprised my husband with this sail for his birthday. It was a wonderful day with excellent staff, tasty, plentiful food, and mellow, guided-as-you-needed snorkeling. While there were about a dozen participants, we felt personally cared for…and the dessert “delivery” was quite memorable!

  If you love snorkeling and good food, this is definitely recommended,, beautiful sailing ship, good hosts and amazing place to snorkel where you can really spot all the fish.

  Friendly welcome aboard and easy sailing for the whole trip. Snacks and drinks up to the snorkel spot , Andrea 1 & 2, saw turtles and spotted eagle ray.'Excellent dinner, tasty salads and steak on the grill, on way back to marina with sunset in back round. We had a nice windy day for the sail. highly recommend this company, my third time using Compass over the years.

  What a lovely experience! We sailed to a cove where the water was calm and our snorkel guide Evelyn led us along the reef where we saw an amazing array of colorful sea life. We enjoyed a delicious bountiful dinner and libations while viewing the beautiful sunset over Klein Bonaire. Our captain Leo and guide Evelyn were so charming, fun and knowledgeable. This was our second time with Compass and we will definitely be back next year.

  What a great experience! The crew was super nice, the food was some of the best on the island, and the sailing was spectacular! We were having a great return trip when a group of dolphins decided to join us for an amazing experience! This was not our first trip with Compass and will definitely not be our last!

  Sunday 11 June we booked a 'dinner at sea' trip with Compass. This trip on a (42 foot) sailing boat named Nawhati - the Compass itself was under repair - first took us from the yaght harbour at Van der Valk's Plaza Beach and Dive Resort south towards the saltworks. Then it went the other way, past Kralendijk up to a diving spot named Andrea. Here snorkeling proved to be quite interesting but note, waters here are at least 4 meters deep, and the distance to bridge swimming/snorkeling towards the most interesting site is at least two hundred meters. While snorkeling the 'captain' - in our case this was Robin, who together with Tari and Sil formed the enjoyable and able crew - prepared the meat on the bbq. Tari and Sill guided the snorkeling guests, making sure everybody stayed safe. Once everybody was aboard again, drinks and dinner were served. A good and tasty meal indeed! In the meantime the boat starts returning in a relaxing pace to its starting point, with a beautiful sunset as its companion. Please note to bring sunblock; decent snorkeling gear is provided for, and: the boat has a (small) toilet. We booked this trip via the Corendon agent: please note to bring the exact amount of cash money if you only paid a deposit for this trip up front. The crew don't have any change, and it is rather difficult (and time-consuming) to arrange another time for payment.

  This trip included drinks and appetizers, a lovely sail, guided snorkeling in a lovely spot, a fine barbeque meal, and a sail/motor to see the sunset from the water. The crew were pleasant and informative. They were also flexible -- for example, our captain did an about-face to enjoy the company of a small pod of dolphins. Be sure to bring a warmer layer to wear after getting out of the water, since the evening breeze can be cool on wet skin. Also, we had a little trouble finding the boat where it was docked, so give yourself a little extra time for that.

  The crew and food were great, as was the snorkeling. The boat was not being well maintained. The under cabin is in bad shape. The owner is not spending the money to maintain the boat comparable to other tours we have done.
