Mtatsminda is the mountain topped by the 300 m-high TV mast that overlooks central Tbilisi. Located 800-metres above the city Mtatsminda Park (known as Bombora) spreads over more than 1 sq. km and has been a popular fun spot for generations. The Tbilisi Funicular is also a mountainous cable-operated railroad with upper and lower stations.

5.00What a beautiful way to wrap a day touring Tbilisi. First and foremost you MUST request Lela! She is an amazingly warm person with a fabulous sense of humor and a genuine love for the city. The ride up on the funicular was lots of fun. You get a great view of the city and there is even a stop midway through so that you can view a church that is built into the side of the mountain. Mtatsminda is an amusement park complete with rides and attractions. The only thing I had an interest in was the ferris wheel. It was a beautiful way to take in the city. There are lots of quirky little stands and structures that are IG worthy. However, what I enjoyed most was the meal and watching the sunset over Tbilisi. You will not be disappointed. Book this tour and enjoy the city from on high.
