We start the tour in front of the Tourist Information Centre and the swanky Fish Market. Bergen’s famed fish market is also the right place to meet the central characters of its story.

Bryggen aka the Hanseatic Enclave aka the Unesco World Heritage Site is the most iconic of Bergen’s landmarks. We walk amid the medieval buildings to retrace the story of the city's development.

5.00The tour was amazing, our guide was very nice and knew so much about the city. It was great to be able to walk around Bergen and learn more about this place. The guide also gave us tips on restaurants and places to visit, which was very useful. I definitely recommend it.

5.00I chose this trip because it was so well reviewed, and it did not disappoint. Don was a charming and knowledgeable guide, very relaxed, fun and responsive. The short (13 min) ferry ride out to a nearly island was a masterstroke as it allowed the opportunity for wonderful views of Bergen. The tour is just the right length for a quick overview of some main sights and is well paced.

The guide , a person in a way, nice, helpful and prepared.... Also beautiful is the trip by ferry.... interesting fish market with built-in restaurant....

He gave us a wonderful overview of everything from Bergen’s old and modern history to the local music, arts, and food scenes. The boat trip was a real highlight, offering a lovely different perspective of the city from the water. Don’s open and friendly nature made the whole experience very special. Highly recommended!

5.00We were a family of 5 with 3 teens and we all enjoyed it. Don is an excellent guide, who has an indepth knowledge of Bergen and shared many interesting facts. The ferry ride provided a fantastic view of Bergen at the end. Highly recommend!

5.00Norwayfarers city tour by foot & boat was extremely good. Don gave a very interesting and informative guided tour. We particularly loved the ferry trip to give another perspective of Bergen. Thoroughly enjoyable 2 hours even when snowing. That just added something special to the tour. Thanks Don.
