  First activity in Bergen & Don did a great job immersing us into the history & culture of Bergen's past. This walking & boat ride itinerary is excellent, done at a right pace and Don is a very friendly & engaging conversationalist. Highly recommended.

  Very interesting walk with Ani giving humorous anecdotes. Mainly concentrated on the Bryggen part of Bergen.

  We went on the tour in the evening with Don, a wonderful, knowledgeable guide who really brought our short time in the city to life. We like to start every short city break with a walking tour to get a feel for the place and this was a perfect way to spend our first evening and finish early enough to get a nice dinner in. Bergen is wonderful in the day and at night but I think at night we were able to have a more intimate tour with only a few participants and have lots of space and time to ask more questions.   Our tour only had us on it. Don, the tour guide, still proceeded with the tour. We walked at a slow pace around the historic part of Bergen. Don was very informative, telling the history of the area, bringing us up to current times. He was also very personable and funny. The boat part of the tour came last, and it was just a local ferry, bringing locals to another island off Bergen. But that was just enough to get out onto the water and see Bergen from that perspective. All in all, great short tour of Area!

  Don was really nice and has a lot of knowledge about Bryggen and Bergen and its history. It was really informative to listen to him explain about the history of each important landmark in the old part of this historical city. We also appreciate the boat ride and him going the extra step to cover all the major landmarks in the city like Bergenhus Fortress, Rosenkratz Tower etc. The cost of the tour is also really affordable, making it really attractive for someone traveling to Bergen for the first time. However, the only major feedback I want to give would be that he tries to make the tour more interactive and provide his insights into the historical and cultural significance of each landmark. I believe that will make this tour absolutely a must-do when in Bergen.
