Ruben was an excellent guide. Being an academic of global history, his insights on the significance of events that unfolded over the course of Berlin’s colorful history were both informative and captivating. He was very friendly, and entertained all my questions without any hesitation

This was an absolutely superb experience - a brilliantly guided walk, led by a friendly and forensically knowledgeable guide. We can't praise Quincy highly enough. He judged the interests and pace of a disparate international group of people well, was happy to answer even obscure questions and made the entire experience fresh and enjoyable. We particularly valued his encouragement of the group to converse and swap views and ideas, which added value to the experience. We've already recommended it to friends and family.

Just to start out, there is a lot of walking across the city, so be prepared and wear sensible shoes. We went on this group tour with our guide Quincy. Roughly 95% takes place in the former East side. While there is a lot of walking, you do not visit every site, but get within eyesight of some places. I believe he mentioned Victory Column, but we never actually saw it on the tour, so we walked there following the tour. Berlin is a beautiful city to see, and Quincy made the tour enjoyable. With plenty of walking between sites, we learned about him and others on the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour, and Quincy as your guide, if visiting Berlin for the first time.
