You will guide yourself on your smart device along the trail solving clues as you go - get the answer correct and we send you the next clue – easy! There are ‘Help’ & ‘Hint’ options if you get stuck and of course you can use your device to look things up if required.
We think this is an excellent way to spend 2-3 hours discovering the city you live in, work in, play in. See our website for more details.

We aim to be wheelchair accessible but 1 clue in this trail is inaccessible by wheelchair. However, able-bodied participants may complete this clue as the answer is one small flight of stairs down & back up to current position
What To Expect
You will be sent a series of clues which will guide you around Brisbane's South Bank on your smart phone/device. Once you get an answer correct you will be sent the next clue. There's a total of 18 clues and we expect it to take you 2-3 hours. Your team name and time taken will appear on the leaderboard at the end, but the clock will stop automatically every time you get an answer correct, so you can take your time and enjoy the trail. When you are ready to set off, just select ‘Next Clue’ and the clock will start again. Without giving too much away, you'll work your way around South Bank and finish in a pub closer to the river.

A Full Day of Brisbane in One Beautiful Place.

5.00South Bank is one of those places in Brisbane where you should not rush. There is so much to see and enjoy here that it is worth giving yourself a whole day — walking, swimming, eating, taking photos and simply enjoying the atmosphere. One of the best things to do is to take a long walk along the Brisbane River. The views are beautiful, the paths are easy to follow, and the whole area feels lively but still relaxing. You can see the city skyline, watch the river traffic, stop for photos, or simply enjoy the warm Queensland weather. Streets Beach and the city lagoon are a real highlight. It is such a unique experience to swim in calm, warm water with sand under your feet, palm trees around you and the city so close. On a sunny day, it feels like a small tropical holiday without leaving Brisbane. Another wonderful experience is taking a CityCat ride. It is not just transport — it feels like a mini river cruise. On a hot summer day, the breeze and little drops of water on your skin are so refreshing. It is a lovely way to cool down and see Brisbane from the river. South Bank is also perfect for food lovers. There are many cafés and restaurants where you can sit down, enjoy good service, have a proper meal, or simply order coffee with something freshly baked. It is a great place to slow down between walks and attractions. I also loved the Epicurious Garden, with its bright flowers, greenery and peaceful atmosphere. It adds another beautiful layer to South Bank — not only river views, restaurants and swimming, but also gardens and quiet corners. South Bank is family-friendly, walkable and full of life. You can visit the parklands, markets, museums, galleries, playgrounds, restaurants and the riverfront all in one area. It is one of the best places in Brisbane for tourists and locals alike. For me, South Bank is not just one attraction. It is a whole Brisbane experience — relaxed, sunny, colourful, cultural and very easy to enjoy. Highly recommended if you want to spend a beautiful day in the heart of the city.

4.00This was a great way to explore the South Bank of Brisbane. It was fun to follow the clues and discover. We found many of the spots and used the hints for a few. We found museums, hidden away art and many other great sites. We stopped for a lovely lunch along the bank. It did not help our “timing “ however added greatly to our experience.

5.00This is a mobile scavenger hunt around the city and takes you to places worthy of interest and exploration. And you would probably take days to find everything that you discover here in just 3 hours it took us. Good value for money, a really worthwhile and fun way to spend time in a city, whether you know it or not. We will be trying Sydney for sure before we go back to the UK.
