What To Expect
Badshahi Ashurkhana
The Ashurkhana is a place of mourning for Shia Muslims on Ashura, the 10th day of Muharram. Established by Muhammed Quli Qutub Shah in 1594. As a result, the city has numerous of Ashurkhanas, after completing the Charminar to mark the new city of Hyderabad in 1591. The brilliantly colored tile-mosaic decoration was completed under Abdullah Qutub Shah in 1611. After the Mughal conquest of Hyderabad, in a display of Sunni sectarianism, Aurangzeb used it as a horse stable for the Mughal cavalry.
Pathar Gatti was built during the reign of the last Nizam of Hyderabad State, Mir Osman Ali Khan in 1911. As the building was constructed in stone or Pathar, it was named Pathargatti. It was designed by the renowned engineer Vishveshwaraiah in a distinctive Osmanian architecture style.

5.00Great walk around the old city with full-day tour continued upto Golconda with many historical sites in Hyderabad. We enjoyed Lunch at Paradise Biryani with Iranian tea with Cookies included in the tour. Thanks to Guide Mr. Baskar and Driver Prashant taking us around the places, we highly recommend this tour for any new tourist who wish to explore Hyderabad.

Again palace is another attraction for the first timers in the city with multicultural intersight into the old city. Also walk in Laad bazaar another glimpse of bangle making around the street with Iranian tea and cookies taste. A panoramic view of the Birla temple with beautiful environment. 5.00The tour was conducted in English by our guide Matta, who explained the historical background in very polite English. We visited places like Charminar and Chomahara Palace, and it was heartening to explore Bangle Street with our guide. The Iranian tea and cookies we had on the break along the way were also great for the local taste. Fill up with authentic lamb biryani and BBQ chicken for a satisfying tour!

The guide, Mattar, was extremely knowledgeable and always had some tidbit to share related to the sites we visited as well as the culture and history of the areas we traveled through. The lunch provided was the best Biryani out of several I tried during my week-long stay in the city. Strongly recommend for anyone interested in seeing the sites and history of Hyderabad.

5.00The tour was designed presizely to make the a more interesting one with a short walk around Charminar, Bazaars, Castle with Osmania Cookies and Tea Break really amazing experience for our group. We also have an local lunch experience at Paradise Biryani and Kebabs. Also experienced the Golconda Fort climbing the stairs with lot of history around it. We recommend this tour as it has all the inclusions in the tour, with entry fee and Lunch Thanks to Mr Matta and Driver Shankar.
