What To Expect
Badshahi Ashurkhana
The Ashurkhana is a place of mourning for Shia Muslims on Ashura, the 10th day of Muharram. Established by Muhammed Quli Qutub Shah in 1594. As a result, the city has numerous of Ashurkhanas, after completing the Charminar to mark the new city of Hyderabad in 1591. The brilliantly colored tile-mosaic decoration was completed under Abdullah Qutub Shah in 1611. After the Mughal conquest of Hyderabad, in a display of Sunni sectarianism, Aurangzeb used it as a horse stable for the Mughal cavalry.
Pathar Gatti was built during the reign of the last Nizam of Hyderabad State, Mir Osman Ali Khan in 1911. As the building was constructed in stone or Pathar, it was named Pathargatti. It was designed by the renowned engineer Vishveshwaraiah in a distinctive Osmanian architecture style.

5.00This was a great way to see major sites in the city. The guide, Mattar, was extremely knowledgeable and always had some tidbit to share related to the sites we visited as well as the culture and history of the areas we traveled through. The lunch provided was the best Biryani out of several I tried during my week-long stay in the city. Strongly recommend for anyone interested in seeing the sites and history of Hyderabad.

5.00The tour was designed presizely to make the a more interesting one with a short walk around Charminar, Bazaars, Castle with Osmania Cookies and Tea Break really amazing experience for our group. We also have an local lunch experience at Paradise Biryani and Kebabs. Also experienced the Golconda Fort climbing the stairs with lot of history around it.
