Join an immersive experience, ideal for enthusiasts and curious. Guided by a Destination Expert with over 10 years of experience, you will visit two exceptional wineries in the Barolo and Barbaresco areas, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, meeting the producers and tasting their wines. This is not just a tour, but an authentic experience that connects you with the soul of the region. Lunch break will be held in a traditional Osteria, where you can sample local culinary specialties (cost not included). DA Canelli, Neive and Alba transportation is included.

A minimum of 2 participants is required.

What To Expect

Langhe and Roero

We will visit 2 wineries, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Here we will take a tour of the premises where the wine is produced and then we will taste the wines of the company, which will be told to us by those who produce them or by the Sommelier of the winery.

Riste was a fantastic guide! He was incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. I felt at ease with his recommendations and expertise. Both of the estates we visited were lovely and the suggested venue for lunch was great. The tour was very relaxing and informative. Suited for both novices and enthusiasts. Highly recommend this experience! An excellent choice to realize the natural beauty of Piedmont's landscape and connect with passionate producers. Sincerely, it exceeded my expectations.

The tour with Riste was very informative and enjoyable. He's a pleasure to spend the day with and will structure the tour so that it is both convenient for you as well as ensuring it fits your tastes. As we were relatively naive about the wines of the region, we relied on him to choose the wineries and both were fantastic. It never felt rushed and it was never a sales-pitch disguised as a tasting. We loved the day and would do it again in a heartbeat! Thanks again.

Riste was a fantastic tour since I booked the experience. He already helped me with some extra tips for the region and had great communication. On the day of the tour he picked us up in a very easy location and started the tour by explaining some facts about the region and also showing us the amazing landscape. We went to two different wineries for tasting and they were all amazing, making us connect to the Barolo and Barbaresco region, the locals and the history. He also helped with Alba suggestions for restaurants and booked a very nice one in Nieve. The tour has been magical thanks to Riste. If you are looking for a true unforgettable experience make sure to book with Riste!

Riste was a fantastic guide to a wonderful day. Riste has a good relationship with the vinyards he took us to, which made for a welcoming reception and a interesting tasting experience. Away from that Riste is wonderful company and knowledgeable about the region in general, so we learnt a lot as we drove from one place to another.

My husband and I absolutely cherish our wine tour booked with Riste. Everything about it exceeded any expectations we might have had. Riste took us to spend time at two different family run wineries. At each winery, one of the daughters explained to us how are the grapes are grown, their location, and more specifics that we never even knew were taken into consideration for a great bottle of wine. We tasted many wines and ended up purchasing a case that Riste arranged to be shipped back to the US for us. Riste also reserved for us lunch at an amazing little restaurant where the food was absolutely delicious as well as the wine. Riste took such good care of us that day. You will be totally satisfied with booking a day with Riste to visit wineries around Alba and Nieve. It will be an experience you will never forget!

My husband and I feel that our day with Riste visiting 2 family wineries was well worth the money spent! We learned so much about wine and the growing of the grapes from Riste and the family members of the wineries we visited. Tasting the wines was the best part and we ended up ordering a case of wine selections to be shipped home to us! Having the one on one time with Riste and the daughters at each winery was very special to us. We were able to witness the passion for wine and family that each encounter shared. My husband and I have come away with a completely new appreciation of Italian wines and what it takes to grow exceptional grapes.
