Join an immersive experience, ideal for enthusiasts and curious. Guided by a Destination Expert with over 10 years of experience, you will visit two exceptional wineries in the Barolo and Barbaresco areas, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, meeting the producers and tasting their wines. This is not just a tour, but an authentic experience that connects you with the soul of the region. Lunch break will be held in a traditional Osteria, where you can sample local culinary specialties (cost not included). Transportation from Canelli, Neive and Alba is included.
A minimum of 2 participants is required.
Transport from Turin is not included.

What To Expect
Langhe and Roero
We will visit 2 wineries, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Here we will take a tour of the premises where the wine is produced and then we will taste the wines of the company, which will be told to us by those who produce them or by the Sommelier of the winery.

5.00This was a superb experience from start to finish. Riste was a very knowledgable sommelier and knew a lot about the area, the wines and the wineproduction. We visited 2 wineproducers (one in Barolo and one in Barbaresco). Both of them were really outstanding with very dedicated people. This wine tour is higly recommended. We had a fantastic day in the beatiful landscapes of Barolo and Barbaresco

He is timely with responses and made planning the trip very easy. The entire day felt incredibly personal, tailored, and genuinely engaging. Riste is a professional sommelier, and his depth of knowledge is staggering, but he shares it in a way that is accessible and fascinating. Honestly, even the car rides between vineyards were a massive highlight of the tour. Instead of just passive travel time, the drives turned into a fantastic opportunity to pick a professional's brain. We had incredible conversations about the region's unique production, the complexities of the local wine industry, and winemaking philosophy. It made the whole experience seamless and deeply educational. If you want a personal, high-level, and deeply knowledgeable dive into Barolo, Barbaresco, and beyond, look no further. He wrapped up the day with a thoughtful small gift as a token of appreciation, which was a class act. 5.00Our wine guide/sommelier, Riste, provided an all-encompassing day of wine tasting in the Langhe region of Piedmont. Our tour was exceptional and included tasting of a variety of wines at two wineries with lunch in between, which was elegant, delicious, and had a tremendous view of the Barolo area countryside. We tasted numerous Barolo and Barbaresco wines for which the region is known. We learned about the history and terroir of the region. We also tasted sparkling, white (Arneis, Viognier, Chardonnay), and red (Barbera, Nebbiolo d’Alba, Verduno, and Pinot Noir) wines. Quite an education—all delivered in perfect English. We even had an opportunity to meet the owners of the estates. Riste excellently managed all the communication prior to our tour so we didn’t worry about a thing. We had a perfect day that we will remember for a long time!

5.00Our winery tour with Riste was beyond our expectations. Not only does he have an extensive knowledge of the wines, but also of the region. Our tour included local insights of Piedmont beyond its fabled wines. Between our winery visits, Riste arranged a lunch at a local restaurant with traditional Langhe cuisine and a breathtaking view. Each winery visit felt personal and was exactly what we were hoping for. Both of our stops were family-owned operations with both tastings hosted by the family. We purchased more wine than we had expected as each stop had such delicious offerings. Riste even helped to ship our wines back home. Riste as our guide truly felt like going on a wine tour with a friend. We cannot recommend his services enough. Also, at the end of the tour, he even provided a bottle of his own wine that he produces, which was delicious.
We never wanted the tour to end!

5.00Our wine tour with Riste was amazing!! He coordinated everything beforehand - recommending restaurants for lunch and making us a reservation to picking us up at our hotel in Alba. His knowledge of the wines in the area was impressive, even before we got to the wineries. He arranged two stops with lunch in between. The tastings were wonderful. It was just me and my husband and we were able to tour the wineries, learn the history, and taste the wine (of course!). Riste helped us arrange shipping of our bottles back to the U.S. also. And he even gifted us a bottle of his own, which was very special. We never wanted the tour to end! What a fabulous experience for our honeymoon. Thank you!
