What To Expect
Portland Observatory
Built in 1807, this historic maritime signal tower is the only known surviving tower of it's type in the United States.
The Wadsworth-Longfellow House
Located on Congress Street, it's the oldest standing structure on the Portland peninsula and the childhood home of American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

5.00This tour was very informative and gave a nice overview of the city of Portland. It passed by several historical sites, the working waterfront, and the Old Port area. The stopover at the Portland Head Lighthouse was a nice ending to this tour. I would highly recommend it. The tour guide was excellent too and he shared so much information about the history of the area.

5.00This was a great tour, we were on a cruise stop and it was a wonderful way to spend a few hours seeing some key points in Portland Maine. The location was easy to find, just a short walk from the cruise terminal. The lady driver was really engaging and entertaining and very very knowledgeable of the area. We zig zagged through the streets of Portland and for me the highlight was the view and the photos we were able to take of the lighthouse. I highly recommend this tour.
