For a first time visitor to the island this was a very good use of time to see all the major sights of the island. The quokkas were really fascinating to watch.

  • Quakkas galore. Cuteness overload

You will never see a cuter animal than our beloved Quakka. They are absolutely amazing and friendly. Watching them interact with people was well worth the trip. The island itself is stunning but very expensive. Worth the trip though.

  • Arrive early to get the best seats

Certainly worth doing but arrive early to get the best seats as the ferry can get very crowded. We got there 20 mins prior to departure and there were only a dozen or so seats left in not very good positions. The island and the quokkas are worth seeing. There are numerous, uncrowded, beautiful beaches with crystal clear water. There are two tours of the island (am and pm). We would have preferred the morning tour but they were fully booked so had to settle for the afternoon tour which meant we did not get back to Perth until 6.45pm. Overall a good experience but it would be better if you could select your tour times when booking.

The island it’s ok if you like to ride bicycles. There are some parts of the island that has nice views. That’s all to see there. You barely see Quokkas which is one of the main reasons you go there. The ride in the boat it’s nice. I expected more of this tour to be honest.
