What To Expect
The introduction dive is a 3 hour fun, beautiful and memorable experience at Curacao. One of our PADI professionals will give you a brief theory session, including an explanation about the dive equipment, the rules of diving and the underwater world. This course is a quick and simple learn to dive program. In shallow pool like conditions you will perform 3 skills in a protected bay, after which you will explore one of the stunning reefs. Here you will see beautiful corals, many different fish and other under water creatures. After this, you might find scuba diving your new passion and you will be just as addicted as us!

5.00Ronald and Lieke were amazing! We saw so many coral and fish and even a school of squid! I would absolutely suggest booking the photographer, because this allowed us to really focus on the dive and she captured the photos. Great job to both Ronald and Lieke. My wife and daughter are both going to get their certification so we can dive more!

5.00Ronald was amazing with instructions and got us safely into the water and through our skills checks. My wife and daughter loved their first scuba experience and are now planning to become open water certified. I went along with them and had an amazing time as well. We saw tons of fish, corals, and even some squid. We booked the photographer, which I highly recommend because we could focus only on enjoying the experience and she captured fantastic images of us and the environment. Great job Lieke!! Thank you both for such a great time!!

5.00Together with my girlfriend I had a Discover Scuba Dive with Lieke. She explained everything in a fun way. When the diving got tricky, she took the time to let me get used to breathing underwater in a very relaxed way. After this had a fantastic experience. Lieke knew how to show a lot of nice fish and spots. We would recommend Jan Thiel Diving to anyone!

5.00My husband and I had such a wonderful experience with Jan Thiel Diving's Discover Scuba Dive course and Lieke as our instructor! She reviewed the equipment, hand signals, and all of the other necessary requirements before we drove to the beach. There, we enjoyed a beautiful 48 minutes underwater! Words cannot describe all of the colors that we saw :-) We saw so many fish and coral as well as the sunken tugboat at Tugboat Beach. I had a few issues with my ears not wanting to equalize, and Lieke was always within sight to help me. There were even times she stayed beside me when I was having trouble finding the balance of going too low or too high. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Jan Thiel Diving's Discover Scuba Dive course for anyone who is not certified but is curious about the world of scuba diving! We always felt safe and comfortable. It was a phenomenal experience and worth every penny!

5.00What a super cool experience! I can recommend everyone to do the introductory dive, especially if you are curious about the underwater life of Curaçao. Cas and Lieke have guided us very well and fine and even pointed out beautiful things underwater, such as a sea turtle and n octopus!

5.00Amazing experience and instructor! I had never scuba dived before. I got a nervous, almost backed out but the instructor reassured me, and stayed close to me under water until I felt comfortable. The dive site was beautiful, lots to look at! Our group dived for 50 minutes, which I thought was a lot do time for the first time! It was worth it for the price, and I felt safe.
