40 to 50 minutes practice at the swimming pool to learn how to equalize your ears, how to clean your mask underwater if fog happens, learn how to widraw the water from your mask underwater, learn to get your regulator back in your mouth if you lose it.
40 minutes enjoying SCUBA underwater, seeing underwater marine life and corals.

What To Expect
Discover how fun SCUBA diving is. With most activities, you are eager to jump right in and get started. But, everything you try in SCUBA diving is exciting even before you officially start. For example, if you are a Star Wars fan, you will recognize your very first breath through the regulator as the sound of Darth Vader breathing. Then, you will experience the moment when you are breathing underwater, and your brain is wondering how that is possible.

5.00Spacious diving school in the beautiful garden of the beautiful Shangri-la hotel. The swimming pool is good too practice the first schills. I'm happy the instructor eas from Europe because I had bad experiences with diving schools in the Philippines that didn't understand me. I told them I didn't dive long time and wanted to practice the basic skills in the swimming pool and undeep sea and they didn't understand me. Today was great and I'll come back here again soon.

5.00Great tour, guide/trainer was very good, ensured I was safe and checked in regularly. Would Reccomend if staying in Cebu, just remeber you can’t fly within 24 hours. Skip the lunch option, better to get your own.

5.00My daughter had an amazing scuba diving experience. The dive masters Bern and Jeff were very helpful and made her feel safe throughout. Marlyn was extremely accommodating and friendly making the whole experience even more enjoyable! Kudos to these staff who were incredibly made this whole experience more memorable. ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍

5.00I'm a complete beginner and tried scuba diving for the first time. It was a spur of the moment decision and it was amazing! We did an intro in the pool before going into open water. Still pinching myself, can't believe I did this!

1.00I have type 2 diabetes which is under control. When I got there they told me that I would need a doctor's note in order to go on the excursion something that wasn't mention in advance. When I told them I can't get a hold of my doctor to write me a note at this time they said they had a physician on hand at the hotel. When we got to the hotel doctor he wasn't working. Needed to say they said they couldn't accommodate me. Which is very disappointing because it would have been easy enough for me to get a doctor's note in advance since I am a great health and I have kept my diabetes under control for the past 17 years. I have also been diving for past 10 years.

5.00Did a fun dive for the 1st time at Shang's sanctuary and it was a great experience. Herbert Alvin provided 5 star guiding service. Dive shop was organize and location was great.

5.00I did one day of experience diving. Shuya (Japanese) and Misch (foreign) accompanied me(^^) In the morning, we watched a video of precautions, and then learned how to explain the equipment, breathe, etc. at the pool, and practiced swimming. After a short break, we dived while being pulled by the boat entry. Originally it is a beach entry, but due to the low tide, it is a boat. The weather was good and the water was clear, so we saw a lot of fishes(^^) After lunch (Omurice lunch on that day), we went to a different point by boat and entered the boat (^^) Plus I had my camera take underwater photos for a fee★ We saw different fishes than in the morning, and took our own cameras so we managed to capture them(^^) We saw a lot of fish such as sea snakes, clownfish, moray eels, etc.(^^) These life-threatening activities are very reassuring when they are guided in Japanese(^^) Everyone is friendly and I enjoyed it(^^) Where you change clothes, the toilet is also beautiful (^^)
