This scenic drive will take you to fishing villages and wild nature areas on Kvaløya Island, along the fjords, and further to an open sea view. Roadtrip is also endless possibility to spot arctic animals. Look around, cause often reindeers hide even between houses. Mooses, sea eagles, seals, otters live just next to the roads, if you know where to look for them.We are always happy to tell you more about norwegian culture and traditions. So you will learn why most of the houses are red and how people lived before in northern Norway.

It was excellent. The guide was wonderful and natural (sorry, don't remember his name, but he was from Spain and is publishing research on whale communication!), knew everything from culture to geology, from local animals to folk tales. The journey was entertaining, the sights were great. We made two unscheduled stops, once to see white ptarmigans in a forest and another time to see reindeer walking through houses in Tromso - he didn't have to do any of these but it meant so much for us. It was a fantastic introduction to Tromso and Norway!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can highly recommend the fjord tour with Robert! The scenery was stunning, and Robert was a fantastic guide who shared his knowledge of the region with us. An absolute highlight was the sighting of a majestic moose. We could also observe an otter happily hunting in the water. The reindeer we saw on the way were the icing on the cake of the tour. The combination of nature experience and Robert's passion for the area makes this trip unforgettable. A big thank you to the team

The tour was really well organised, small group (8) and well planned toilet breaks. Aimed more towards adults with great information about the island. Our Spanish guide was AMAZING, he was very knowledgeable about history, wildlife and world issues. It's a photo tour with roughly 7 stops.

We joined the Discover the Fjords of Kvaløya tour on December 5th, and it was truly outstanding. Our guide Ania impressed us with her deep knowledge, genuine enthusiasm, and wonderfully positive attitude throughout the day. She made the experience both informative and uplifting, turning the stunning landscapes into an unforgettable adventure. Highly recommended!

Loved this experience. Usually we are skeptical of organised tours as we like to go to places under our own steam & we have hired a car for the duration of our stay in Tromso, however, we thought we’d try this tour. We are so pleased we did. The group was small, only 15 people, which was perfect for us. Our tour group leader, Jessica, who was from Brazil, had a fantastic knowledge of the area. We learnt so much from her which we wouldn’t have known had we driven the route ourselves. Can’t recommend this company & Jessica, highly enough.

We had a fantastic road trip with Samuel. It has been a snowy time in Tromso, but the clouds broke and Samuel was full of knowledge about the surroundings with a focus on the animal life. He knew all the best spots. We saw reindeer, white grouse, and an otter poking through the waters at one of the fjords. The van itself was comfortable and Samuel’s driving was really quite impressive especially in the snow. I would do this trip again in a heartbeat.

I had the pleasure to have Robert guide this tour. He was very informative and efficient. We saw some wild reindeers although they were a bit further away because they were on private property, but we saw them! He knew where to look too. I loved his first hand knowledge about the fishing towns and the area in general and I was impressed by his driving skills and his logistical knowledge (get to the bathrooms first before the other tours come by). Definitely worth it to have a skilled driver in snow and ice. There was a Fjord that was blocked by snow clouds and it was hard to see and he went back later to show us when it was clear (a little darker outside, but clear). I thought the information was what I was seeking and it was nice to be in a smaller group. This is a photographers type of tour. Some stops were just get out and take pictures and go. Some people brought big wildlife lenses and it was worth it for the reindeer appearances.
