My husband and I travel extensively and have had many tour guides, but Barbara’s knowledge the history, architecture and customs of Siena gave us an understanding and appreciation of this unique city. She brought what we’re seeing to life for us.

What a wonderful tour! Our guide, Elena, is a Medieval scholar, and we so loved all of her knowledge of Siena. She was pleasant, funny, and interesting. Truly a highlight for our group of four.

Barbara was an excellent guide, but unfortunately her agency did not send text or email notifications before tour date. Thankfully she had my phone number and called and let us know where to meet her. So we started tour an hour late. Barbara couldn’t have been more accommodating. She was well organized on her presentation. Her English was perfect. She showed us things we would have never noticed on our own. Our favorite spot she took us to was an out of way street built probably in 12th century, it was amazing!

Good overview of the city and its history. Guide was very knowledgeable. Experience was a little boring for small children. Very interesting for those who would like to know the Catholic history of Siena. We liked the info about the various contrada in Siena.

Lots of background on architecture and history of St Catrin. It was just my wife and I with Iloria and she was lovely. Zero complaints about the actual tour. However…very poor instructions on meeting point! No landmarks to identify our guide vs the other dozen tours (how about a sign??). We had the same experience at Accademie in Florence and it was brutal-this is a Viator problem NOT the local guides
