Highly recommend day trip to Washington DC. Josh the tour guide was very helpful, kind and accommodating. It was a lovely day trip at very reasonable price as well
Very unprofessional. If you are expecting pick up from Jersey, you will be left stranded!

According to the booking site and the company’s website, they pick up passengers from the New Jersey location as stated at 5:50a. My mother and I were waiting at the Jersey site from 5:10a and no one ever came. I tried calling their phone number multiple times but it went to voicemail, and attempted using their chat service which no one responded until after 10am where the person was very rude and stated that the bus was waiting at the New York pickup location until 5:45a. They did not call me on my cell phone and identify themselves or send an email. I asked for a refund and they ghosted me afterwards, not so much as a response. I wrote an honest review about it on their website, then they delete it. I would not recommend this tour to anyone as you will waste your time and money. They should really not advertise that they pick up people from both sites as they will leave stranded if you are expecting pick up from New Jersey!

The guide Josh was always friendly and friendly. The tour ends up being fast and you need to pay attention to the group's schedules. It is a good alternative for those who are in NYC and want to get to know Washington quickly. The expectation was met.

I had an amazing experience with Royal City Tours on their one-day trip to Washington D.C. The tour was well-organized, and we visited all the major landmarks—the itinerary was spot-on for anyone wanting to see the highlights in one day. Our guide, Josh, was absolutely fantastic! He was helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and had a great sense of humor. He explained everything beautifully and kept the group engaged with fun facts and stories. His upbeat attitude and constant smile made the whole day even more enjoyable. The group was fun and friendly, and the whole experience felt smooth and memorable from start to finish. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York and wanting a top-quality D.C. day trip!

Very intense but fun experience as a day trip from NYC. A long drive there and back but definitely worth it. Due to an event, unfortunately, some streets were blocked off so we could not see the Capitol up close. Many thanks to Josh, our driver/guide, who gave us the opportunity to see and visit many important landmarks in Washington DC. Really nice guy! Greetings also to Maria and Lisa "Wasabi";-) our companions that day.

The van was very comfortable and also did some stops between New York and Washington so it wasn't an unpleasant trip, the guides were very friendly and open to any questions from the people. Something important to take in consideration for those who aren't familiarized with city tours, you will only stop in the most important places and of course for those that are easy to enter and take some pictures, don't expect too much time between one place and another. So if you want to see the most important things in the city this is the tour for you.
