Dive into an unforgettable adventure in Iceland’s glacial waters! The Silfra Fissure, located in Þingvellir National Park is celebrated as one of the world’s top diving spots. This 6-hour guided tour offers an unparalleled opportunity to scuba dive between the continental plates of Eurasia and North America, an extraordinary experience found nowhere else.
Explore all four sections of Silfra, beginning with the narrow Silfra Deep Crack and progressing to the majestic Silfra Cathedral, where you’ll dive to a depth of 22 meters (72 feet). The journey concludes at the Silfra Lagoon, where the crystal-clear waters and ethereal blue hues create a magical finale.
With visibility exceeding 100 meters and breathtaking underwater rock formations, Silfra’s glacial waters offer a world like no other. Whether you’re mesmerized by the vibrant colors or the unique geological wonder of diving between two tectonic plates, this experience is as awe-inspiring as it is unique.

Have far more experience diving than the minimum. I am a very new diver. I dry suit certified just to do this dive. I disclosed all that when I signed up and they said I would be just fine. I understand they have time constraints, but I felt very rushed. Did not feel like I was allowed to inspect equipment and get comfortable with it. When I explained, I needed ankle weights, to help my legs stay under with a dry suit,I was told I wouldn't need them. The other diver with me was also very inexperienced, and I felt that the person leading the dive did not account for that and was growing frustrated with our lack of experience. I was able to get under just fine the first time. I had to surface due to other diver needing help getting down. When it was time for me to go down again, I struggled. I just couldn't get calm enough after seeing what I was seeing to go under and I did not feel comfortable. I ended the dive for me without completing it. I would recommend more time in a dry suit and more experience needed than what os posted. Also a snorkel was not provided. Having one is diver safety 101.

Jenny was absolutely amazing. She gave clear instructions and we even had a snorkeler that was having a difficult time. She helped her overcome and was able to finish! One thing is bring your tip cash with you since guide recommended not bringing wallet.

It was a unique experience, and surprisingly not cold! The dry suits worked well, good idea to wear your own thermal layer under their thermal suit and dry suits. Great to get the photos after!

An amazing experience at the Silfra Crack. From the first moment we were treated great and everything was perfectly organized. Diving in such a place, with such crystal clear water and between two continents, is something really impressive. We want to highlight especially our guide, Hernán, who was fantastic: very professional, attentive and always watching that we enjoyed the experience to the maximum. Undoubtedly, a highly recommended excursion. — Tami and Fran

Absolutely terrible experience! I just asked the guide if I could join even though I’m not good at swimming, and he refused me right away. The rules clearly stated that as long as you can swim, you’re allowed to participate. I traveled there for hours by car, wasted a whole day, and spent hundreds of dollars for nothing. Extremely disappointing experience!!

Life lies in exploration. This snorkeling experience made me understand this truth. The experience underwater was unforgettable, and the time spent with friends was even more so. Especially my diving instructor Fede, she was very interesting and extremely patient. I'm very grateful that she joined us on this journey. If there's a chance, I would definitely take part in such an adventure again.
