I cannot recommend dogsledding with Rod’s enough!! Our guide Matt was excellent, the dogs are super friendly, and they help outfit you in appropriate clothing if needed. We absolutely loved this experience.

My fiancé and I had a great time dog sledding! All of the staff members were super nice, and our guide Jimmy was amazing. He made sure we were comfortable, took the time to take a bunch of pictures while we were stopped on the trail, and let us pet/interact with the dogs a bunch. Overall we had a great time, you won’t regret your decision to book here!

The whole crew was phenomenal! I was especially happy with how Catt made sure I was warm for the adventure. My driver, Kristen, was very knowledgeable and I felt very safe. Excellent adventure!

This was an incredible experience. We had Jimmy and his dogs and he was incredibly kind and made sure we felt safe. His dogs are very well trained and some of the friendliest I have seen. This experience was memorable and he took a lot of pictures of us. We felt warm while on this trip as well. I would definitely recommend Jimmy's dogs if you are in Fairbanks, Alaska and want to do dog sledding. I would definitely do this again and may try to do it again on this trip if they are available.

Willoe and Kristen were great guides and there dogs were so beautiful! We stayed dry and warm and were so lucky to have snow falling all around us as we explored the wilderness. Highly recommend!

Loved the Team led by Jimmy. Jimmy was so friendly and gave tips where to eat. He took great pix. He gave us a history of the dogs and what they did during the summer, and helped take great pictures of us with a sunset behind. What a great experience thank you Jimmy.

Kristin and Jimmy were absolutely wonderful. All four of us agreed it was one of the funnest experiences we have ever done. This was our fourth dog sled and heads and tails above the others.

Jimmy and his pups made for a great birthday ride!! Even though it was -15° we were surprisingly warm. Definitely an experience to remember and one I’d highly recommend for all ages…ok maybe not babies but I’m no parent sooo use your best judgement. Thank you again Jimmy’s Dogs!

Rod’s Guide service staff were friendly and accommodating. They assigned us Joe Weber from Motley Crew Kennel as our musher. During the ride, Joe gave us some history of his team and their racing. A few had completed the Iditarod multiple times. Halfway through the ride we stopped and were able to meet the dogs and spend some time with them. It was an awesome experience to see how these dogs work and how much they love to run!
