We went dog sledding at Rod’s Alaskan guide service. All around an absolutely amazing experience and worth the money. Our musher/guide Joe Weber was great. He balanced letting us soak in the scenery and the experience with cool stories and background on the dogs. 10/10

Joe led us on an amazing 1 hr dog sledding trip. He was super patient answering all our questions, as well as taking our pictures during breaks! His dogs were super cute and sweet. Joe was very informative about dog sledding and all that entails. He was an true advocate for his dogs educating us on their care and training, During breaks it was amazing seeing the love he had for them and them for him. We had an amazing experience only made better by an amazing guide.

I had a wonderful trip to Alaska to visit my friend stationed at Fort Wainwright. We decided to go dog sledding on February 28 for an hour, and it was such a fun experience! Our musher, Luther, was full of interesting information. He was also very friendly and attentive, happily answering all our questions. We truly had a fantastic time. The rest of the staff were also very warm and welcoming. Although the admission fees are on the higher side, I believe it's definitely worth it for such a memorable adventure.

This is one of the best experiences and we had a great time. We had 2 sleds, one with Joe as our musher and one with Lindsey as the musher. Both were incredibly nice and told us about their dogs and care they get. It truly was the sweetest thing and dogs were so happy!! If I come back to Fairbanks, I would do it again!!
