Joe was great! Was engaging snd answered all our questions. Lots of knowledge about the dogs and racing and about Alaska in general. Appears to love what he does. A great guide so much so that even though I didn't get to go on a real dog sled due to lack of snow I was really glad we had this experience!

We had an amazing time on our sled dog tour! Our guide, Matt Hall, was wonderful – friendly and easy to talk to. He told us all about the dogs and the sport, and you can tell he truly loves and cares for his team. We learned so much and had a ton of fun. It was also really cool to hear that he placed 2nd in the Iditarod – such an incredible accomplishment! This was an unforgettable experience and we’d highly recommend it.

My son and I had the absolute pleasure of joining Matt and Elke in the fall dog mushing adventure, and it was nothing sort of magical!

We had an awesome experience at Rod’s Alaskan Guide Service dog sledding with our family including older teen kids. The staff is great. I had a great ride with Matt Hall and his barking team of 8!! Mark is an Iditarod finisher and he is a great guide and his dogs were awesome. The other guides were great as well. They have a warming building with gear if you need it and clean bathrooms. We highly recommend!
