From the moment we stepped into Rod’s Alaskan Guide Service we were treated and helped with everything! And then our Musher, Deke was so knowledgeable, answered our questions and we had so much fun on our tour!

Joe Weber was absolutely the best! We had the time of our lives with him and his dogs. Couldn’t be happier with him as a musher and Rod’s as an outfitter. Will definitely be back!

Joe and his lovely team of dogs were great! Very friendly, informational, and fun. His team are all race dogs so we were going pretty fast. This place has complimentary warm parkas (Canada Goose!), bibs, and bunny boots to borrow. Side note: I was taking video on my phone and the battery was suddenly 10% probably from trying to stay warm in the subzero temps!

I had an amazing experience with Jonah and his dogs. I asked a ton of questions and Jonah had an answer for every single one. He was super nice sharing personal stories from his life which made the experience all the more exhilarating. The entire team at Rod’s Alaskan Guide Service was awesome. This was my very first time experiencing something like this and I had an absolute blast! I can’t wait to do it again. If you get Jonah as your musher, you’re in for a treat!

Wow, what a great time we had! We were lucky enough to take our tour with Matt Hall, who has taken 2nd place in the Iditarod race the last two years. We learned so much from him! The dogs were so fun to watch and play with. This is a must do experience!
