Luther was such a great guide with his dogs! Told us stories and all about mushing. Even let us pet us the dogs and ride on the back side of the sled with him.

What an incredible experience. We did the dog sledding for an hour. Our guide was Deek, and he was great. You can tell how much he loves his pups. We had a chance to “drive” the sleds as well. I can say this is a don’t miss opportunity. You definitely need to check out Rods Alaskan Guide Service on your next trip to Fairbanks, the North Pole, or Chena Hot Sorings

It was one of the last days of the season, but we got lucky! My wife, son, and I got teamed with Willow and Joey- highest personal recommendation to seek them out. Willow loves what she does, and it’s clear as soon as you meet her. The most personable host with the coolest job in the world; she takes the time to educate and explain everything and makes it entertaining and interactive! Good luck with your 2028 Iditarod qualifying Willow. Good luck to you and Joey both- and Joey, my son said be careful with the Moose you come across in your adventures! Thank you all for a nice in a lifetime experience!

We visited the 10:45 AM session on April 3rd, and it was such a wonderful experience! Joe Weber is incredibly nice and loves sharing stories about his dogs, which made the whole visit even more special. His dogs all have amazing personalities—they’re friendly, gentle, and absolutely love being petted. Watching their playful and adorable behavior brought so much joy and laughter to our dog sledding experience. It truly felt like a happy and unforgettable adventure. We highly recommend everyone to come visit and spend time with them—you’ll definitely create beautiful memories here!

Went on a 1 hour tour with Joe from Motley Crew Kennels. We had a great time. We started out meeting the dogs and taking pictures. We loved the dog’s energy and excitement. We went for about 10 minutes, zooming through the trees. We were on the trail by ourselves, which gave a private feeling. We later and stopped on the trail to take more pictures in the wild. Joe was customer focused, sharing about the dogs and answering our questions. We stopped again about 20 minutes later for more pictures. The 1 hour trip went so fast. At the end, we stayed for the dog’s treats and took final pictures. The overall experience was terrific. We need do it again.

I just finished an incredible tour with Joe! He is a fantastic driver—the ride was remarkably smooth and steady throughout the entire trail. Beyond the ride itself, Joe provided so much fascinating information about sled dog racing. His knowledge of the sport and the dogs made the experience both educational and exciting. If you want a professional, comfortable, and insightful tour, Joe is the best!
