We had a great experience with Luther and Matt. They took our family out for a 1 hour trail ride. The dogs were so excited and we learned so much. The staff at Rod’s made sure we had warm enough gear & had us swap out our boots.

Our guide was Deek. We were his first run of the day. It was AWESOME! We stopped half way through the run to take photos. He took photos of my family and I. We had a bunch of questions, that he gladly answered. Overall, it was an awesome experience.

Joe Weber was an excellent guide and musher. He was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed hearing about his experiences mushing and racing in Alaska. Would highly recommend Joe.

The experience is great but our musher was rude. There isn't any explanation of the history of mushing or anything abput the dogs before the tour so we were asking questions during the tour and he was annoyed with our questions. I recommend you try this with someone else more pleasant.

This is my first dog sledding experience, I will highly recommend to someone who plans to Alaska. Special thanks to Joe and the team - the youngest one is so cute :)

We had a blast doing the 30 mins dog sledding with Joe and his Motley Crew team at Rod’s Adventures. They provided extra warm gear if needed. The time goes by quick, but well worth the experience. The dogs seem happy, Joe answered all of our random questions. They are an experienced team and we love that they hire out actual local teams. This was the highlight of our trip!
