Jimmy was fantastic! He was so friendly and we could just feel the love he has for his dogs. Great conversation and learned so much about his dogs and sledding culture of Alaska.

We had a great time learning about the sport of mushing and all about the Alaskan huskies. Jimmy was great and very informative. The dogs obey him very well. We would do it again.

This adventure honestly exceeded our expectations! We truly appreciated that the company provides gear, and this was one of the main reasons we booked. Our guide, Kristen Eckwright, was so warm and patient, sharing so much about it each of her dogs. They were THE sweetest we’ve ever interacted with and had so much personality (thinking of you Holly(wood)!). Highly recommend and if you’re lucky, you’ll be paired with Kristen and her family of dogs.

My husband and I went on the dog sledding experience. We had an amazing time. Jimmy was kind, friendly and eager to share his knowledge. We loved the individual time with his dogs. They were all so friendly and loved the attention. Would highly recommend Rods for this excursion!

Excellent experience. Kristen and Joe were our “dog musher guides”- they were knowledgeable, accommodating- explained everything. We had the best time! Definitely recommend them!

Loved it! We had to force our tweens, after they thanked us. They loved it too. Dogs were all super sweet. Luther’s team were so fun. Very obviously the dogs love their job and are well loved. Highly recommend!

Our family had a great time with Joe and Ashley as our mushers. Both were so friendly, informative and fun. Rod's gets you geared up perfectly, so you're fully prepared for the weather. You get time meeting the dog team and interacting with them at the half way point of the trip. Plenty of time for photos and dog cuddles. This was a great experience for us Floridians looking to experience some unique Alaska moments. Thank you Joe and Ashley!

Our experience with Deke was great! He gave us lots of information about the dogs, mushing, and Alaska. My daughter loved being able to meet the dogs and feed them snacks after the run. It was a great and uniquely Alaskan experience.
