Great experience! The landscape with the view of the dogs was just once in a lifetime feels. They bundle you up nicely but even so dress accordingly.

Would highly recommend this dog sledding experience. It was short, but overwhelmingly amazing and incredibly powerful. The beauty of the place, the dogs, and the surroundings moved me so deeply that I burst into tears — I truly didn’t expect it to affect me this much. The operation itself felt quite transactional and efficient, with minimal interaction or storytelling, but that didn’t take away from the magic of the experience once we were out on the sled. It’s one of those rare moments that stays with you long after it ends. Absolutely unforgettable and worth every moment!

This was our first time dog sledding, and I did it with my husband. At first, he really wasn’t into it because of the extreme cold — it was -40°C — which honestly scared us a little. But once we arrived, all our worries disappeared. They provided everything we needed to stay warm during the ride: heavy coats, gloves, and face masks. We were completely protected and comfortable the whole time. Our guide, Rohn, was absolutely amazing — super nice, kind, and patient. He made the experience even more special and took incredible photos of us that we’ll cherish forever. This dog sledding experience is truly one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life. Even with the -40°C weather, it was 100% worth it. I would do it again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. 🐕❄️

We did the half hour dogsledding experience, and absolutely loved it! It was very cold - around minus 35. So very glad we went through with it, though. Luther Buhr was our musher, and it was great hearing him talk about the history and background of dogsledding. It was cold, but a great experience. I am glad we sid this - hope to do it again. Rod's Alaskan was great and I plan on doing more guided tours (ice fishing?) when up in Fairbanks again.

Loved the experience. Our dog musher Kristen was amazing, and kept us engaged during the entire experience. The place is organized very well, and they gave us extra ski overalls and ski masks. Place is close to North Pole so this place is perfect to club with a trip to the Santa Claus house!
