Enjoy a beautiful private winter hike in the Dolomites near Bolzano in the company of professionals.

All you need is a backpack, a pair of winter boots shoes and the desire to discover these fantastic mountains that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In addition to safety, our primary goal is to hike where there are fewer people, so you can better enjoy the majesty of the Dolomites.

Under our expert guidance, we will hike at a speed suitable for you and your friends, without rushing.

The best part of the day is the return: we can rent a sled and quickly go back to the starting point of the tour. It is fun for young people and adults alike!

Be prepared to enjoy the Dolomites as the locals do and without having to worry about where to go and how to do it. Your guide is a seasoned professional who will know where to take you-just follow him!

Snowshoes or Micro Crampons are not always necessary. Depending on snow and trail conditions, winter boots may be sufficient.

What To Expect

After pickup at your accommodation, you will transfer by car with your guide to the starting point of the hike. If necessary, we will take a cable car or a snowmobile to quickly reach higher altitudes from where we can hike with better views and wider horizons. The hike is on easy mountain trails that are covered by the snow and can be more or less challenging depending on your fitness level and weather conditions. Your private guide will choose the most suitable trails for you. In most cases, we can rent a sled to quickly return to the starting point. It is not difficult to use a sled even if you have never used one before. In the Dolomites near Bolzano we offer several winter hiking options in the areas of "Val di Funes", "Latemar", "Catinaccio" and "Alpe di Siusi". During the day there is time to stop for lunch. Once booked, a couple of days before the tour starts, you will be contacted by the local guide to customize the tour and meeting time. Be sure to bring appropriate winter clothing, gloves, beanie and winter boots. It may be cold, as we are in the middle of winter!

Guido is a very good and experienced guide! He was super helpful and helped make this trip an experience of a lifetime!! Amazing day! Guido knows all the best vantage points for photos and is very knowledgeable about all the trails. Great guide! Stunning views all along the trails and even better at the Geisler Alm for lunch. Don’t miss this excursion or the sled ride!

This was absolutely amazing. The guides were great. Beautiful hike. Wonderful meal at the top and then an amazing sled ride (like nothing you have ever experienced (15 fast minutes)) down the mountain!

For the Dolomites in winter, the options for travel are truly limited. As you can see, the day-trips to the common sights are filled with summer photos. If you visit in winter, you may only see snow-covered lakes and hard-to-reach forests. But this is a very good way to travel. First of all, it's a private group, with no visitors involved except you and your friends. Second the regiment is very local and is accompanied by local guides throughout. The way to travel is probably to set off from Bolzano in the morning (the guide takes us in a private car), reach a valley and start hiking. After lunch at the break in the middle of the day, the afternoon was dominated by sledding down the hill. The arrangements are very reasonable. The afternoon sled is not physically exhausting, but it's very fun. Very, very recommended as an option for winter travel. Thanks to Guido, you're really a great guide~!

We had such a great time on our hike with Guido!! The trail we took wasn't busy at all, so we had it all to ourselves and it was so peaceful. Definitely a fun adventure!!
