It’s not every day that you get to paddle your way down a mangrove creek forest that has been there for over 10,000 years. We kayak up close to shipwrecks, relics of a bygone era (weather/wind permitting) and along the way have the opportunity to spot dolphins. It’s a special experience that simply can’t be replicated, which is why Dolphin Sanctuary Kayak Tours is a must-do!
Our guides are marine biologists who have experience and knowledge of working with marine mammals and wildlife. Participants don’t need any prior kayaking experience, and we travel at a comfortable pace to accommodate reasonable fitness levels.
We hope to see you paddling with us in the Sanctuary soon!

A lovely time kayaking around the lake and groves. Alex was a brilliant guide. So informative and patient with us older ones. We saw the Dolphins and plenty of wild birds etc. Completely recommend to anyone.

Paddy was an awesome guide; very knowledgeable of the marine environment. Garden Island is a great place to explore & the mangroves were beautiful. Manoeuvring in a couple’s kayak take coordination but doesn’t take long to get a hang of

The mangroves were so pretty and so much fun to get through like a race course. We were on the water for what felt like forever, worth every penny.

Excellent trip and Fiona was very knowledgeable about the tour route. Luckily we also had several sightseeings of a friendly dolphin close by

Paddy and the other guide (I'm sorry, I forget her name now) were so great during our tour. We went on Sunday Sept 1st, 2024. We were one of the lucky groups that got to see a dolphin and we were so impressed with the knowledge our guides had about them and the surrounding area. Paddy answered our questions about the mangroves very patiently, and the other guide was incredibly patient to drag around 2 tourists who were more interested in being on FaceTime with their family and talking through the instructions to paddle. I would not have had the same amount of patience, but their professionalism shone through. I would highly recommend this activity to others.
