The Dominica Botanic Gardens, located in Roseau, is a lush 40-acre sanctuary showcasing the island's rich biodiversity. It features exotic plants, towering trees, and vibrant flowers. Highlights include the Baobab Tree, which crushed a school bus during Hurricane David, and an aviary for the endangered Sisserou Parrot. 5.00Absolutely wonderful tour. A little tight on the bus for my 6’5” husband. A stop at the Botanical Gardens was a great bonus. We went up into the rainforest and stopped at Titon Gorge! A number of our party took the opportunity to go for a swim. We walked around and listened to the sounds of water moving. Our guide provided an excellent break with fresh fruit and coconut bites. He also had homemade rum punch that was quite different from many we had tried. It was less sweet and a second serving was enjoyed!

5.00We had an amazing experience on the Roseau and rainforest tour in Dominica. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking—from the lush, green rainforest to the charming streets of Roseau. Every stop felt special and gave a real sense of the island’s natural beauty and culture. Our tour guide was truly outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Dominica. They shared interesting history, local stories, and facts about the plants and wildlife that made the tour even more meaningful. The guide made sure everyone felt comfortable, safe, and included, and their enthusiasm made the day unforgettable. This tour was well organized, relaxing, and full of memorable moments. I would highly recommend the Roseau and rainforest tour to anyone visiting Dominica, especially with such a great tour guide. It was easily one of the highlights of my trip!

5.00Great trip from cruise port. Visited the rainforest and waterfalls. The sulphur spa was interesting. The viewpoint at Morne Bruce Garrison was spectacular. Paula was a great guide, very informative and had great knowledge. Fresh fruits and rum punch were a bonus.

5.00Enjoyed our time getting to know the country Dominica! Our guide was Celo of Majestic Tours and he made sure we had a great time! He took time to teach us the Dominican way! He danced and laughed as we explored Titou Gorge and Trafalgar Falls! Dominica is one of the Carribean’s hidden gems.

5.00We booked the Roseau City & Rainforest Tour with Majestic Taxi & Tours through TripAdvisor on November 11, 2025, and it was a fantastic way to experience Dominica during our cruise stop. Our guide, Russell, was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly considerate of our multi-generational family. He treated my in-laws like his own grandparents and made sure our 3-year-old was comfortable throughout the day. The van was clean, spacious, and well-air-conditioned. The meeting point was slightly different than listed, but easy to find by asking or looking for Majestic Taxi & Tours. We visited Morne Bruce for beautiful views, walked through the Botanic Gardens, saw Trafalgar Falls, and stopped at Wotten Waven Sulphur Springs. Russell adjusted each stop based on mobility needs, even bringing fruit vendors to the van so my mother-in-law didn’t have to walk far. He also added a bonus stop at Titou Gorge, which other passengers enjoyed swimming in. This tour was well-paced, reasonably priced, and returned us to the ship well before the 5:30pm all-aboard time. I highly recommend this tour—and Russell—for cruise passengers, families, and anyone wanting a relaxed, informative introduction to Dominica.
