Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Weight restrictions: For a single passenger booking weighing 230lbs or more, a combined weight (2 passengers) of 400lbs or more or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 190lbs or more an additional seat must be purchased at the time of booking. Any passenger over 250lbs no matter what the combined weight is must purchase a comfort seat. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers on board.
Flight routes & sights may vary due to weather.
ONLY YOUR CELL PHONE IS ALLOWED ON BOARD. NO OTHER CAMERA DEVICE IS ALLOWED! Air Maui will provide a lanyard for passengers cell phone that will be worn around their neck at all times during the flight.
Supplier Terms and Conditions for Doors Off (MUST READ)
Children must be at least 10 years of age or older to go on doors off. An adult must accompany anyone 10-18 years old. Only age 16+ can sit on an edge/outside seat.
No hats, bags, sunglasses or any loose items allowed. We provide goggles that you are required to wear. If you have prescription glasses that is fine please wear smallest pair or contacts as they must go under the goggles.
Must wear closed toed shoes or sandals that strap to your ankles. No flip-flops or slides.
Long hair must be tied up in a bun or braid.
Air Maui will provide each passenger a windbreaker jacket for all passengers to wear during flight.
Cancellation policy: No refunds or rescheduling within 48hrs of flight time. For groups 12 or more 7 days notice is required.
All passenger names & weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.
Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
Helicopter is a shared cabin of 6 passengers and one pilot on each flight.
Nothing in your pockets. If applicable we will hold car keys in the office while you fly.
Customers must pay for parking with the QR code at the entrance of the heliport. We have the QR code in our office as well. CREDIT CARD ONLY.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00We had an incredible experience with Air Maui Helicopter Tours from start to finish. We were running a little late due to crazy traffic and honestly were pretty stressed—but the team was so accommodating and kind. They didn’t make us feel rushed or guilty at all, which says a lot about their customer service. We chose to do the doors-off tour, and it was absolutely unforgettable. We’ve done a similar tour in Oahu before, but this one was on another level—far more beautiful and truly breathtaking. Our pilot, Nathan, was outstanding. From A to Z, he was confident, professional, and handled the helicopter incredibly well—even with some wind. We felt completely safe the entire time. He was also an excellent narrator. We learned so much about Maui, the landscape, and all the breathtaking waterfalls. It really made the experience more meaningful, not just scenic. Another thing we appreciated was the option to purchase a portrait and a video at a very reasonable price. The video was especially worth it—it included both the helicopter’s exterior footage and shots of us inside, which made for an awesome keepsake. Overall, this was a top-tier experience, and I highly recommend Air Maui to anyone visiting the island.

5.00This was an awesome experience, Drew the pilot was great he would turn helicopter around to make sure everyone got good pictures. Waterfalls you can only see from flying. Try your best to set by the outside edge no doors is the only way to go.
