Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Weight restrictions: For a single passenger booking weighing 230lbs or more, a combined weight (2 passengers) of 400lbs or more or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 190lbs or more an additional seat must be purchased at the time of booking. Any passenger over 250lbs no matter what the combined weight is must purchase a comfort seat. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers on board.
ONLY YOUR CELL PHONE IS ALLOWED ON BOARD. NO OTHER CAMERA DEVICE IS ALLOWED! Air Maui will provide a lanyard for passengers cell phone that will be worn around their neck at all times during the flight. Passengers must keep one hand on their phone at all times while in flight. Air Maui is not responsible if you lose your phone.
Children must be at least 10 years of age or older to go on doors off. An adult must accompany anyone 10-18 years old. Only age 16+ can sit on an edge/outside seat.
No hats, bags, sunglasses or any loose items allowed. We provide goggles that you are required to wear. If you have prescription glasses that is fine please wear smallest pair or contacts as they must go under the goggles.
Must wear closed toed shoes or sandals that strap to your ankles. No flip-flops or slides.
Long hair must be tied up in a bun or braid.
Air Maui will provide each passenger a windbreaker jacket for all passengers to wear during flight.
Cancellation policy: No refunds or rescheduling within 48hrs of flight time. For groups 12 or more 7 days notice is required.
All passenger names & weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.
Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
Helicopter is a shared cabin of 6 passengers and one pilot on each flight.
Nothing in your pockets. If applicable we will hold car keys in the office while you fly.
Customers must pay for parking with the QR code at the entrance of the heliport. We have the QR code in our office as well. CREDIT CARD ONLY.

Every staff member was professional, friendly, and organized, making the entire experience seamless. We absolutely loved the doors-off flight. Our pilot, Kirk, was knowledgeable, informative, and made the ride both enjoyable and comfortable. Most of all, the views were simply breathtaking—far beyond what we could have imagined. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and an excursion we'll never forget. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure!

5.00We loved this helicopter tour! Pilot Richie was great and very entertaining, and it was a smooth flight. The views of Molokai are incredible. The Doors Off flight gets a bit chilly, but the jackets they give you to wear were sufficient. I would suggest wearing pants or leggings if you get cold easily and plan to sit on the outside edge. Also, I have very long, fine hair and, even though I braided it, it was very tangled where it pulled out around the headset, all along the crown of my head. I would suggest maybe a very tight, gelled French braid or, if is allowed, a wide stretchy headband as well as a braid. Overall, one of our top experiences in Maui!

5.00Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The Doors Off West Maui and Molokai helicopter tour was easily one of the highlights of our Hawaii trip and worth every penny. The views honestly did not even look real. Flying along the massive sea cliffs of Molokai, seeing hidden waterfalls, lush valleys, rugged coastline, and the untouched parts of the islands from the air was unforgettable. :) Our pilot Nathan was outstanding. You could immediately tell you were in experienced hands. He made the entire flight feel smooth, safe, and relaxed while also being incredibly informative throughout the tour. He shared history, local insight, and pointed out things we absolutely would have missed otherwise. He also had a calm and reassuring personality that made the whole experience even better, especially for anyone nervous about helicopters or the doors-off setup. The doors-off experience itself was amazing and nowhere near as intimidating as we expected. It actually made everything feel more immersive and gave unbelievable photo opportunities without glare or windows in the way. Air Maui was professional the entire time, from the safety briefing to the gear they provided, and the staff were all friendly, organized, and welcoming. This was one of those experiences that you remember forever. If you are visiting Maui and debating whether to book this tour, do it. Seeing Maui and Molokai this way is absolutely breathtaking, and Nathan made it even more special. 1000% recommend. :)

5.00Highly recommend the doors-off tour of Molokai. I had a morning to myself and am so glad I took this tour. Our pilot, Nathan, was informative and also really soothing (lol). The doors off isn't as scary as you might think, and depending on weight only a few people actually sit next to the opening. This was completely gorgeous- for the western Maui and Molokai tour, you head out to Molokai past Maui and get gorgeous views. The cliffs are stunning- we saw goats- and waterfalls that are purely fed by cloud cover! It was really serene and beautiful. Air Maui itself was very professional, organized, and you feel like you're in good hands. They were timely, had windbreakers for everyone, and you can take your phone with you for photos or buy a video that the pilot tapes on your trip. It's more expensive than other tours, but if you can swing it the tour is definitely gorgeous and once in a lifetime.

5.00The most amazing tour of Maui & views, photos don’t do it justice. Nate was our pilot and he was so great! Thank you for giving history on all of the places we flew over, it added so much to the trip. We highly enjoyed the 45 min doors off tour. Affordable video and photos avail too! Can’t wait to go back and do this again. 1000/10 recommend!

5.00This was the most amazing experience of my life! Nothing can describe the beauty of Maui. Drew was an awesome pilot and was very knowledgeable of the island! Absolutely worth every penny. Do not take it lightly when they say to tie your hair up!! My friends hair was completely matted after she wore a loose bun so definitely do not take their suggestion lightly!
