Learn all about Austin and its rich history while enjoying an awesome view of the city from the top of a double-decker bus. You get the best views of Austin from our unobstructed upper deck, making this the best tour for taking photographs. People on the street also love to interact with people on the upper deck! For your comfort, the lower deck is climate-controlled. This tour passes by more downtown attractions than any other Austin tour. Every tour has a driver and tour guide with absolutely no audio recordings. Enjoy your Austin experience much more by interacting with our guides, whose sole focus is making your experience fun and interesting.

This is a single loop tour in which you stay on the bus for the duration of the tour, which will last about 75 to 90 minutes, depending on the traffic. You tour will conclude when you get back to Stop #1 at the Austin Visitor Center.

Great introduction to Downtown Austin. The guide was knowledgeable and witty, and made the tour much more interesting.

Amazing amazing experience! Worth every dime. You make me have a different perspective on tourism. A must do every time you are in a new city and the tour conductor/ speaker brought everything to live. Loved listening to him and watching him he was hilarious!!! Had everyone cracking up!

Interesting tour. It was far too hot to sit on the second level, which would have made for a much nicer experience. Think twice before booking during the summer when the high humidity and bright sunshine make the ride extremely uncomfortable. On cooler days, it’s a much better experience.

My first trip to Austin and I chose to take a Waymo to the tour. My Waymo got stuck in my hotel parking lot for 12 minutes until I got someone to remotely drive it to the street. That meant I was running late and I called this company but got voice mail. I was afraid I'd miss the tour, but as we arrived the apparent owner of the voice mailbox was chuckling as I pulled up. He heard the message even though I left it just 7 minutes before!! The tour was awesome! The tour guide Alex involved the group with questions as he explained the sites all along the trip. I tried to map the tour so I could grab another if it missed anything and this tour really encompassed everything about downtown Austin. I really enjoyed it. The only downside was that I didn't take their advice to put on their provided sunscreen.

Great mini tour of Austin and its history. There’s a lot to see and this tour helped pinpointed a few spots for us.

The Austin visitor center is located near a public parking, which is free on Saturdays across from Frost Bank parking. The center is very welcoming. It has a gift shop and very nice staff clean bathrooms while you wait for the bus. The bus left on time at 10 o’clock. The weather was cloudy so we decided to on top, we were offered a water. The staff on the bus were very nice and our guide was extremely knowledgeable.. The guide was concise with his information, told funny stories, and also very interesting stories about the well-known buildings and statues and oil, rigs and etc. stories about people pertaining to the Neighborhoods we were traveling through at the time. Our guide was funny, spoke clearly and used good grammar(!) It was very well done, entertaining, informative. Plus full of recommendations for visiting well-known sites, such as Lady Bird, Johnson, wild flowerPark , music venues, Barton springs, the Capital, and good recommendations on barbecue restaurants and Mexican restaurants, etc. The 90 minutes tour bus was a very enjoyable and memorable experience. A brief introduction to Austin history in a 1.5 hours city tour. The ride on the open upper deck of the double decker bus was pleasant on a partly cloudy morning in May.
