Learn all about Austin and its rich history while enjoying an awesome view of the city from the top of a double-decker bus. You get the best views of Austin from our unobstructed upper deck, making this the best tour for taking photographs. People on the street also love to interact with people on the upper deck! For your comfort, the lower deck is climate-controlled. This tour passes by more downtown attractions than any other Austin tour. Every tour has a driver and tour guide with absolutely no audio recordings. Enjoy your Austin experience much more by interacting with our guides, whose sole focus is making your experience fun and interesting.
This is a single loop tour in which you stay on the bus for the duration of the tour, which will last about 75 to 90 minutes, depending on the traffic. You tour will conclude when you get back to Stop #1 at the Austin Visitor Center.

We really enjoyed our double decker tour! Our tour guide was such a sweet and friendly young lady — she made the experience so much fun. She was knowledgeable, cheerful, and made everyone feel welcome. Highly recommend this tour!

This tour was much better than a hop on hop off tour with recorded audio. It is a guided tour with a live tour guide giving interesting insights to Austin living and Austin history. Highly recommended if you have a couple of hours to spare while in Austin.

I was disappointed that no real mention of African American history during the tour like the Barbara Jordan building ! The tour guide seemed tired and apologized for misinformation! Her energy and jokes did not go over well! I would not recommend this activity to family and friends

The guide was knowledgeable and funny. We enjoyed seeing highlighted areas of Austin and the guide gave good suggestions for things to see in more depth as well as restaurants and music venues and bars.

We had a very enjoyable double-decker tour with our guide Will. An admitted transplant from the UK, his local knowledge of Texas/Austin history and culture is rather comprehensive, and very informative. He is well spoken, funny and very considerate of his passengers and audience. This is the second time we’ve taken this tour from 2 years ago and we are pleased with addition of the UT campus segment.
