My wife and I just spent two weeks in Bonaire to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Snorkeling has been our go to vacation activity for decades. On our second day in Bonaire we took the double dip trip with a group of about 8 people. Arno (the captain and co-owner) took us to Klein Bonaire and our guide Tessa led the group snorkel. She was amazing with her knowledge of the coral and fish we saw. Had a great time but our favorite journeys came later when we chartered the boat for just the two of us for four separate three hour snorkeling trips. For these trips Arno was captain and his wife Joyce was our guide and photographer. With Joyce guiding us we were able to see things she pointed out that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. We went to a different snorkeling location each time and got to see the best Bonaire had to offer. Arno was very accommodating picking us up at the end of drift snorkels so we didn’t have to swim too far. One of the main reasons we first selected the Sea Cow was the entry ladders which are essentially stair cases. We are both in our seventies and needed the extra help getting in and out of the water. Snacks and drinks were good too. All in all we can’t say enough good about our experience with Arno and Joyce. They’re a delightful couple that gave us the best snorkeling vacation we have ever had. We both had tears in our eyes when it came time to say goodbye.

This was a return visit for us, and this time we brought along friends from the UK. The trip started with some miscommunication on our pick up location, but was quickly resolved by Arno with a couple of text messages. Just as we remembered, the staff was friendly, the boat clean and well run and the snorkeling gear in great working condition. Our guide Rose, was delightful and very knowledgeable about marine life and local history. She was patient with us making sure we had the best experience possible. Snacks and lunch were delicious and timely, and the snorkeling breathtaking. We seldom take return port excursions while cruising, but the sea cow snorkeling trip is an exception to that role. It’s a highlight for us and we highly recommend it. Pick up and return to the cruise ship is easy and well worth it. Excursion is the perfect amount of time. 245 minute floating snorkeling trips. This allowed us time for a bucket of beers back at Karels in the port area. A perfect day in Bonaire.

The Sea Cow snorkeling crew is amazing! They love their work and work hard to provide the best possible snorkeling experience. When Capt. Arlo was warned of large waves which caused cloudy water at our intended destination he rerouted us to an alternate site. Then, they checked the current so we could drift along with it and have the boat follow us which maximized what we were able to see. We were divided into 3 small groups and assigned a guide. When our guide, Carolina, spotted a unique fish or plant species, she dove underwater and pointed at it so we could all see it. Then, she surfaced and explained what we had just seen. Since she knew what to look for, she spotted things we would have missed, such as a stingray that had covered itself with sand and was laying on the ocean floor. All of the guides were extremely knowledgable. friendly, and enthusiastic. When we finished snorkeling they served us a delicious snack and waited on us as if we were royalty. We snorkeled a lot, learned a lot, and had a lot of fun because of the superb crew! Thank you.

Wonderful time. Will do it again. The crew is fantastic. Only bad thing was the weather and who can control that. Fun, fun time.

Had a wonderful time with Tess, Carolina and the captain (can’t remember his name but he was great). Saw a variety of critters and Tess included interesting details about them. There were 12 of us, which was a perfect size. Loved the photos and snack! Thank you!

Trip was easy to book, they respond quickly, and offered transfer from the cruise port. Arno was able to take us to two beautiful areas, protected from the rough waves. There were 18 in the boat with 5 crew, but we all had plenty of room for bags and gear. They will provide you with gear if you need it. The boat has 2 ladders that extend well into the water so getting on and off was very easy. We were split into groups of six and each group had our own guide. They had snacks sandwiches and beverages for us included. Our guides were very knowledgeable and made sure everyone was able to see the marine life. Octopus, turtles, coral and fish were all pointed out to us.i would do this trip again. Arno and Joyce and the 3 guides made this a wonderful day!
