The tour was well organized, the guides and drivers were professional and friendly. The beauty of the Sound speaks for itself, you won't be disappointed. I would take this tour again if I were once again in New Zealand.

Bus and boats were very comfortable. Be sure to bring warm clothes as it can get windy on the water.

My wife and I booked a trip to Doubtful Sound as part of a 3.5 week tour of New Zealand. Absolutely everything about this experience was incredible. RealNZ were fantastic. Every single member of staff went out of their way to make our day special. At all times we felt safe while travelling on the bus or boat and our bus driver Tony was incredibly funny and informative throughout our journey. We were incredibly blessed to have amazing weather on the day, which based on the feedback from Tony about the number of wet and cloudy days they experience in this part of the world, made us appreciate how fortunate we were even more. The trip involved the following:- c20 minute bus trip to Lake Manapouri. c45 minutes boat trip on Lake Manapouri. c60 minute bus trip to Doubtful Sound. c2.5 hour boat trip exploring Doubtful Sound. c60 minute bus trip back to the boat. c45 minute boat trip on Lake Manapouri. c20 minute bus trip back to Te Anau. I would highly recommend this trip. It is a long day but well worth it.
