Porto
Your experience starts at our Meeting Point, next to S. Bento Station and you will meet your guide that will drive you to the Amarante, our first stop. On your way to the Douro Region, your guide will give you insights regarding the Portuguese history, development and cultural facts of portuguese heritage.
Amarante
Amarante, our first stop, features the majestic Serra do Marão and the river Tâmega, which flows through the city and adds charm to its picturesque houses. The city, possibly founded by the Roman centurion Amarantus, links the provinces of Minho and Trás-os-Montes. In the 13th century, St. Gonçalo, a Benedictine monk and the city's patron saint, built a bridge over the Tâmega. Amarante is also renowned for its sweets, including papos de anjo, brisas do Tâmega, toucinho do céu, bolos de São Gonçalo, and galhofas, which can be found in local cake-shops and cafés.

Great experience. We did Douro Valley tour with lunch and wine tasting. Diogo (aka Michel 😂) is very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The weather wasn't great as it rained for almost whole day, but overall the experience is highly recommended. Thank you for the great day Diogo and Rui.

Full day trip to Douro Valley, lunch and cruise. Provide excellent and enjoyable trip. I went with my 2 friends. Excellent drive and excellent tour guide Slimmy. He is very knowledgable plus he can sing. He is a true entertainer. I very much admire his customer care, especially he remembered all his guests on the day. Yes, Slimmy is best tour guide. I recommend reader to use this company. Ps. It's steep hill, narrow road, steamed windscreen can't see the front, this made me feel uncomfortable and felt sick. I later had to wipe the windscreen on my side, so that I can see.. I have motion sickness, even I took travel sickness, but still felt a bit sick, luckily the bus stop for a break,I then can take fresh air and another travel sicness pill. The rest was great I didn't fee sick afterwards.

Simmy was a lovely guide sharing lots of historical information about Porto and the Douro valley as well as fun and interesting facts about the areas. The tour was great. We enjoyed the wine tasting, the cruise on the river was beautiful, and lunch was a fun, intimate experience. Even though the weather wasn't on our side, we still enjoyed the day and would recommend it to anyone wishing to experience something outside of the city.

We had a great day trip to the Douro Valley! It was a nice small group — just 7 of us in a minivan with our guide/driver. Every minute was well thought out to make the most of our time and give us a variety of experiences. Highly recommend!

This tour was one of the few available on Christmas Eve. The bus ride was comfortable and the countryside beautiful. The boat tour was very crowded so we sat shoulder to shoulder with the rest of the group on a packed boat. There was a small cooler with wine and beer on the boat, but they did not offer it through the entire ride and when we asked if we could buy or order one they told us to wait, but never stopped what they were doing to unlock the cooler or serve anyone so that was a bit disappointing. Lunch was at a beautiful historical home. It was delicious with lots of options and plenty of wine to make up for the boat ride. The wine experience was also nice in a relaxing rustic atmosphere.
