An olive oil mill turned into a museum. Our last stop of the day showcases another fine product of the Douro: the olive oil. This particular olive oil mill worked until the turn of the century. Here you will learn about the process of preparing olive oil, from the olive tree to your table. Another tasting of olive oil and wines is included, as well as honey and almonds.

5.00Sergio is an amazing tour guide! His car was very clean and i love the fact that his EV is environmentally friendly. His passion for wine was evident and his knowledge of the process was impressive. You can tell he has a great relationship with all the wineries we went to! He also knew all the best spots for photos and was more than willing to take our pictures (as well as some selfies with him!) Our tour with Sergio was easily one of our favorite days of our trip!!

5.00We had an outstanding experience with our private driver/guide, Sergio Costa of Portugal EV Tours, during our time in Porto and the Douro Valley. Our group of four was picked up in an immaculate Tesla that comfortably accommodated six passengers, making for a very smooth and comfortable journey. What truly set this experience apart was Sergio’s professionalism and depth of knowledge. He was extremely articulate, informative, and engaging, providing rich context and history at every stop. In addition to showing us the highlights of Porto and the Douro Valley, he also took us to several lesser-known locations outside the city that ended up being some of our favorite parts of the trip. Everything was well-paced, personalized, and thoughtfully planned. We never felt rushed and always felt taken care of. Highly recommend Sergio Costa and Portugal EV Tours to anyone looking for a high-quality, informative, and enjoyable way to explore the region.

5.00We booked Sergio for two long full days He's nice. He's prompt He's knowledgeable . He has a very clean comfortable car. He knows back roads , small cafes and bakeries He knows local wineries. He even knows the local dogs names !! I would absolutely recommend him and his tours !! We saw so many non tourist places that we would have never seen

We had a long lunch at a farm to table restaurant in a stunningly beautiful location. We would highly recommend using Sergio. He is full of knowledge about the area and his car is immaculate.

5.00How beautiful a day! From beginning to end it was filled with unforgettable moments. Sergio was very knowledgeable and informative and cared about everything we wanted to do and see. From a trip in a luxury car to a delicious and unique meal in a vineyard and to finish a wine and port tasting! It’s impossible to ask for more! Thank you very much Sergio!

5.00We had an outstanding Douro Valley tour, wine tasting, and food pairing experience with Sergio. Transport to the valley from Porto was luxurious in the Tesla Model X. Sergio shared a wealth of knowledge about the wines of Douro and took us to boutique wineries, restaurants, and olive oil producers with a boat cruise down the river. Highly recommended!

I had seen rave reviews on here but was reluctant as we were coming to Portugal with our teens. Traveling with three teenagers can be a challenge, but Sérgio made the entire day engaging, informative, and fun for all of us. From the moment he picked us up, Sérgio’s warmth, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the region set the tone for a perfect day.
