We are one of the oldest traditional wineries in Douro Valley since 1872.
On this tour we will start on our winery, were we will have the experience to check all the technical details process from our vinification methods followed by a local guide.
Next stop we will be explore our wine cellar having the opportunity to experienced on first hand how we still aged our top red and white wines plus Port wines we do at Quinta da Foz.
As a highlight from this experience tour we will taste 5 different wines plus our extra virgem olive oil.
On the end of the experience all of you are invited to explore, walk into the magical old vineyard.

What To Expect
We will visit a traditional winery/wine cellar were we still do the wines barefoot!!! Enjoy a small/family producer on the heart of Douro Valley. We are specialized on TOP dry wines (red/white). We are one of the oldest traditional wineries in Douro Valley since 1872. On this tour we will start on our winery, were we will have the experience to check all the technical details process from our vinification methods followed by a local guide. 5.00We visited Quinta da Fox in October for a private tour & Tasting. We were shown the Port and Table wines processing methods and facilities by a very pleasant and knowledgable guide.. The grape trampling-by-feet vats were a surprise in this modern age. We were then brought to the tasting room, where we sampled 1 white and 3 red table wines, 1 20-year tawny port, and olive oil. These were accompanied by bread and cheese. It was a wonderful experience, and we learned a lot about the unique port wine making.
Traditional winery (stomp the grapes!)great tour that had a wonderful balance of information and tasting.

5.00This is a really lovely wine tour of a boutique vineyard. José created a very warm and welcoming environment. We all learn a lot about the process of making wine, leaving with a renewed respect and admiration for the industry. The wine tasting was a delight, delicious wines, well explained by José, again, educational. We'd love to return for the Port wine experience. Thank you Jose and Quinta do Foz

5.00Excellent tour and wine tasting experience with Joseph, who made learning about how their different boutique wines are made both interesting and entertaining. Doing the tasting in the cellar created a cosy atmosphere. Their olive oil is also super tasty 🫒

5.00José gave an excellent and enthusiastic tour of this beautiful little winery tucked away in the valley. He was clear and informative. The tasting afterwards included some delicious wines with excellent explanations and descriptions of the process. We were lucky to also see some wine in the process of being made by their team. Overall an outstanding 1.5 hrs experience - would highly recommend to anyone visiting. Thanks to José and the rest of the team!!
