Please note that the total duration of the activity may be affected by traffic conditions. We strongly recommend that you do not schedule any additional activities or make other plans in the hour after the scheduled end time.
For reservations without the “Pickup at the hotel” option, the meeting point is next to the statue of Vimara Peres, close to the Porto Cathedral.
Collection and delivery to hotels is not included in Vila Nova de Gaia and Matosinhos (hotels and other accommodation).
The services included in the tours (visits to wine estates, restaurants, etc.) are subject to the availability of third parties and other groups/participants may be with the group during the experience. Schedules may be changed without prior notice.
Vegetarian and gluten-free meal options are available if requested prior to the day of booking. Please let us know before the tour starts. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If canceled due to not reaching the minimum number, you will be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
The guide will wait up to 5 minutes after the scheduled time.
Generally, our tours are carried out in Portuguese or English, an extra language can be added if there is a minimum number of users. Only French and Spanish languages are guaranteed in activities

5.00We loved this tour and more than met our expectations! Our driver/guide was friendly, very knowledgeable, and accommodating to the groups needs. The drive to the valley from Porto was beautiful. Nice boat and train rides! Lunch was amazing, served in an old wine estate home. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00We had a wonderful tour with Paulo. He made sure that we had every experience. He took us took us to locals gems that we did not expect to see. From food to fabulous photo stops. 5.00Fun day in Douro Valley with our excellent tour guide Pedro. Highly recommend! Highlights : boat ride on Douro river surrounded by beautiful vineyards. Scenic train ride along the river in 1950’s restored train. Lovely small group tour of family owned vineyard with lunch overlooking the orchards. Brief stop in small town with interesting history of town and church

5.00A full day excursion with a variety of stops - nice boat tour gave a glimpse of the surrounding area (lovely) - the train ride gave us another perspective of the countryside - the van ride allowed us to view the beautiful scenery and small local roads & quaint towns - the visit to the winery was informative and provided generous samples of their port wines. Lunch was family style and offered 4 main dishes, unlimited wine (red and white), dessert, and cappuccino! And, the visit to the Amarente church was extraordinary!

5.00Pick up by our tour guide Pedro in a nice Van. Ride to the valley, short boattrip on douro, later a nice train ride to the very beautiful village Pinhao. Lunch with delicious food in a Restaurant where locals eat. Visit of a beautiful small church. Wine tasting with a young wine expert Yassin. Sn amazing tour in this soooooo beautiful valley with a verry nice and funny guide. Thanks Pedro
