Blenheim Palace
Blenheim Palace This awe-inspiring stately home, the current private residence of the 11th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough, is perhaps best-known as the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Admire the stunning details behind the portraits, tapestry and furniture in the lavishly decorated State Rooms, which includes ornate furniture by Boulle, Savonniere carpet and the iconic 'Victories' series of tapestries celebrating the Duke's victory over the French armies of 'The Sun King', Louis XIV, at the Battle of Blenheim. Enjoy a stroll through the beautifully landscaped formal gardens designed by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown and more than 2,000 acres of parkland, or walk in the footsteps of Sir Winston Churchill. Visit his most cherished outdoor places on the grounds of Blenheim Palace, including the spot where he proposed to Clementine Hozier.

The tour was long … 10 hours … but good! It was well planned and well executed with a knowledgeable, friendly guide and a modern, comfortable coach!

It was an excellent experience and very well organized. The tour guide, Megan, was great and we also had a wonderful driver in Clive. Would 100% recommend.

Angela and Christian were the absolute best. They were knowledgeable, kind, professional and funny. I appreciated Angela's PSAs at the start of the trip so we could hear all the history and general info she had to share. I simply wished we had at least 30 more mins in each location, it simply went by too quickly for each spot.

It is a fun day out and you get to see three amazing places. Travel was made very easy and our Guide Angela and driver Christian were pleasant and Angela was very knowledgable. She explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Very enjoyable day. I originally signed up for the Dover Castle/Rochester Castle tour and I was very disappointed that it was cancelled. This was a nice alternative.
