Blenheim Palace
Blenheim Palace This awe-inspiring stately home, the current private residence of the 11th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough, is perhaps best-known as the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Admire the stunning details behind the portraits, tapestry and furniture in the lavishly decorated State Rooms, which includes ornate furniture by Boulle, Savonniere carpet and the iconic 'Victories' series of tapestries celebrating the Duke's victory over the French armies of 'The Sun King', Louis XIV, at the Battle of Blenheim. Enjoy a stroll through the beautifully landscaped formal gardens designed by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown and more than 2,000 acres of parkland, or walk in the footsteps of Sir Winston Churchill. Visit his most cherished outdoor places on the grounds of Blenheim Palace, including the spot where he proposed to Clementine Hozier.

Would have appreciated more time at Blenheim Palace. The Cotswolds are beautiful but the villages visited would be more suitable to smaller groups, rather than a large coach. Felt rushed at each stop so not able to really see much. Tour guide very dry- more like a sheep herder. Did not add much to the tour really.

Our tour guide Phil went above and beyond our expectations. He was incredibly informative, generous with his time, and truly passionate about sharing his knowledge. We felt well taken care of every step of the way. A special thanks as well to Clive, our excellent coach driver — his professionalism and steady driving made the journey smooth and enjoyable. Together, they made the experience unforgettable

I was unable to go on this tour due to disruption to traffic caused by the notting hill carnival around the hotel I was staying in. This tour was a special highlight of my uk trip so very disappointing to have missed it. This was no fault of the organizers of the tour but rather an unexpected obstacle

Very relaxing tour, with interesting details of the surrounding areas by the guide Manon & a smooth, scenic route driven by the Bus Driver Mike. Would highly recommend.
