Heading near the Shinola Hotel, enjoy expertly crafted coffee and creative desserts in a neighborhood blending Detroit’s industrial roots with modern flair. In Parker’s Alley, tucked behind the hotel, discover a boutique chocolatier crafting unique confections in this revitalized urban gem.
Our next stop is Cannelle, a patisserie inspired by French baking, where exquisite pastries showcase Detroit’s elevated culinary scene. We’ll end at Campus Martius, the vibrant heart of downtown, where the city’s rich history meets its modern energy—a perfect conclusion to this flavorful exploration. 5.00Great tour! Our host, Jason, was very knowledgeable about Detroit and the places we stopped. We had a cronut, a truffle, a pastry at a French patisserie and everybody got to choose a beverage. It was laid-back, but it had just the right amount of walking to get some exercise. The host helped with a recommendation for nearby parking that was very reasonable, also. All in all, it was a great time, and we highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide Destiny was such a delight, shared a lot of history, showed and told us a lot about the area. 5.00We had an amazing time on the underground donut tour! Jason was a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. He knew lots about the art and architecture of downtown which was an added bonus. All of the treats were absolutely delicious and it was fun to get to experience all the different areas of Detroit. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone. It is well worth the money!

5.00My boyfriend and I went on a trip to Detroit for our anniversary, and the Donut Tour is definitely our favorite thing that we did while we were in town! We met up with our tour guide, Destiny, at Astoria and we tried cronuts for the first time (they were delicious!) We definitely had our fill of sweet treats for the day, and even stopped for coffee on the tour. Destiny was the perfect tour guide - she was incredibly personable, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable. She is a Detroit native with so much love for her city. While on the tour, I realized that Detroit is so much more beautiful and historic than I could’ve imagined. She showed us so many unique and interesting landmarks and businesses in Detroit and even gave us recommendations on things to do while we were in town for our anniversary. We will definitely be making another trip to the city to check out more of the local businesses that she highlighted! Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience and telling us about the history of the city!
