We had an amazing time on the underground donut tour! Jason was a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. He knew lots about the art and architecture of downtown which was an added bonus. All of the treats were absolutely delicious and it was fun to get to experience all the different areas of Detroit. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone. It is well worth the money!

My boyfriend and I went on a trip to Detroit for our anniversary, and the Donut Tour is definitely our favorite thing that we did while we were in town! We met up with our tour guide, Destiny, at Astoria and we tried cronuts for the first time (they were delicious!) We definitely had our fill of sweet treats for the day, and even stopped for coffee on the tour. Destiny was the perfect tour guide - she was incredibly personable, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable. She is a Detroit native with so much love for her city. While on the tour, I realized that Detroit is so much more beautiful and historic than I could’ve imagined. She showed us so many unique and interesting landmarks and businesses in Detroit and even gave us recommendations on things to do while we were in town for our anniversary. We will definitely be making another trip to the city to check out more of the local businesses that she highlighted! Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience and telling us about the history of the city!

This was my first visit to Detroit and I can’t imagine a more fun and insightful introduction. The sweet treats were fantastic and clearly well-loved by locals. Destiny was an outstanding guide. As a true native, her knowledge of the city is deep and her personal stories very meaningful. I also loved seeing the hidden art I would have otherwise missed. Thanks to this tour, I feel truly enlightened about Detroit and admire the civic pride that is so evident.

Our tour in Detroit was great. Our guide, Destiny was delightful! She was engaging from the start. Full of interesting details of the surroundings and very considerate of each individual. The “donut” stops included pastries, coffee and bonbons. All were delicious. According to Destiny the good donut shops are not downtown but in local neighborhoods. We are looking forward to trying another donut tour in a different city.

Tour with Destiny is a must! Proud Detroit born and raised with epic amounts of knowledge of the downtown area. She shared stories of her experiences growing up in the area, fun facts about the Historical buildings, and led us through alleyways that include wall murals and art as we filled ourselves full with local pastry shops and coffee adventures.
