You’ll receive a white ceramic tile and can choose from an exclusive selection of traditional tile patterns carefully selected and documented by our team directly from the streets of Porto, which you can replicate, or create your own original design. Your instructor will guide you throughout the painting process, making it accessible for beginners and enjoyable for all ages.

Fun relaxing afternoon tile painting!

5.00I arrived quite early. Daniela made me feel welcome, directed me where to place my bag and brought me a port wine whilst I waited for class to commence. Daniela asked us to select from many patterns, then explained the process to us, showed us how to get the right shades of colours on the tile, how to make the dots on certain patterns. No rush, Daniela was there to assist us with a smile, when required. When required, Daniela placed tile in the oven and then, if required, Daniela brought tile back to us, for second part of painting to be completed before final placing of tile in oven. Very enjoyable relaxing afternoon activity!

5.00It was our first time tile painting. Rita, our teacher was great, personable and shared the history behind the art. She was helpful with guiding the process and touching up where needed for the final result. Definitely recommend Rita and this experience.

5.00Oh my gosh we had the most fun with Daniela!! We were a group of 12 all ages of women and some artistic and some not. She was so helpful and patient! If you are looking for an activity in Porto with someone that loves people and tile art this class if for you! The class did take the full amount of time. If you are a novice crafter choose a simple pattern...the more intricate the harder the trace and the painting. Feel free to experiment with color! I choose a pattern and then used colors I loved and not what was used in my pattern.

She guided us step by step and made the whole process really enjoyable, even for someone with no artistic background. The shop is beautiful and very well organized, with a lovely atmosphere. I felt truly inspired and proud to take my painted tile. Highly recommend this workshop to anyone visiting Porto looking for a creative and authentic Portuguese experience!
