Taste the flavors of South Florida as we get you off-the-beaten path and into locally owned restaurants. We'll get you started with a traditional Cuban guava and cheese pastry as you enjoy the waterfront views. That's what our food tour is all about...local flavors, local stories, local sites. You'll feel like you're walking around downtown West Palm Beach with a local who's taking you to their favorite restaurants and introducing you to fun chefs and restaurant owners along the way. Speaking of walking, you'll be walking a total of 1.5 miles over 2.5 hours, so expect to walk about 3 blocks between each restaurant. Along the way, we'll share some crazy stories from our past and we'll learn about the vibrant murals around town. FYI - we do sit down at all of the restaurants, and restrooms are available.
On the way to Pistache French Bistro, we'll walk thru our beautiful waterfront park, and we'll share a bit of history of our area. Pistache French Bistro is one of the oldest restaurants downtown, and we'll enjoy a traditional croque monsieur as we dine in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the waterfront park.

The guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun. There was a variety of food and all was delicious! It was more food than we expected, but with the walk between the restaurants and stops to learn about the area, it was perfect. I would definitely recommend taking this tour.

This is a delicious high-end food tour with plenty of history! We even got to meet the owners of most of these local restaurants. We have been on a number of food tours and we would highly recommend this one !

Raheem & Camille (spelling) did an amazing job with our group. Camille was in training helping with the tour, and both knew a lot of history about the area. The food was exquisite. We had an opportunity to try the following at each place: We started at -E.R. Bradley’s with a Columbian pastry (similar to a turnover) with guava & cheese. Then we had a Mahi Mahi fish taco. I am not a “fish” eater, but this was fresh and very tasteful. -Sloan’s Ice Cream shop we sampled Coconut Storm ice Cream (not on the tour list). It was a decorative quaint shop with many flavors to choose from. The suggested coconut really hit the spot. -At Pistache we had a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich with Guier cheese and salad with a vinaigrette dressing. A French speciality, and it didn’t disappoint. -We stopped at a restaurant rooftop bar (Ben Travato’s) to see the ocean view. Not on our tour route, but how awesome that they took us off the path for this view! Truly amazing. If you get a chance to go, you have to see this view! It would be amazing at sunset. -At Shanghai’d we had a “mocktail” (it was good. Tasted like sweet grapefruit juice). You could have a cocktail if desired, and I was told it was great. General Taos cauliflower, mushroom potstickers on a carrot pure. Mongolian beef, and zucchini with peanut sauce. A little surprise at the end was a beignet with salted caramel and condensed milk drizzle. Once again, not on the menu, but the chef happened to be there and made this treat knowing it was mother’s birthday. How sweet is that? -Salento was a Colombian coffee shop. They had a unique home made coffee and a little cheese corn bready thing that I can’t remember the name 😜 -Ended at Ganache Bakery where we sampled fresh coconut water, Tamarind juice, and a little Keylime tart with whip cream. Delicious! They gave my mom a big frosted carrot cupcake for her birthday. The guides made this a truly special tour. I thought it was very kind that they catered to my mom’s birthday making this fun and eventful. Don’t pass this opportunity up if you have an chance to take this tour… you will not be disappointed 😁 The Jones family ❤️
