Taking a Morning Desert Safari Dubai is something that you cannot afford to miss! Plan the morning safari to experience this desert in full, along with a share of adventures in the form of Sandboarding, Dune bashing, Camel riding, quad bike then, relax in an air-conditioned tent and enjoy Arabian coffee with dates.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

It is highly recommended that you eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid sickness during the dune bashing.

We highly recommend having international travel insurance, as self-driving activities carry inherent risks that may lead to serious injury. Coverage for such incidents is typically provided only through your personal insurance.

All desert safari drivers are well trained and licensed for safari drives. The 4WD vehicles are fully insured and well equipped with all necessary safety features, such as roll bars, seat belts, government trackers, GPS, GMS, and a First Aid box

OceanAir Travels shall not be responsible for any kind of loss, accident, sickness or injury.

Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.

Casual, loose fitting clothing is recommended in the summer, along with a jacket in the winter

Pickup will be 45min prior to your selected departure time. Please be ready at the hotel lobby on time.

Pick-up timing is subject to change due to the emerging summer heat: 1 hour earlier in the morning and 1 hour later in the afternoon. A notification shall be sent in advance in the case of any change.

Everything listed in the Inclusions is part of the tour and is covered in the price. Quad biking is available if the option is selected.

Camel Ride: Children below 12 years of age cannot ride alone and must be accompanied by an adult.

Quad Bike: Children below 16 years cannot ride on their own and must be accompanied.

By participating, you acknowledge and accept that some activities involve inherent risks and unforeseen incidents, and adequate travel and health insurance is strongly recommended for your safety and financial protection. Recommended Age for Self-Driving Activities: Sandboarding: 12-50 years, Quad Biking: 16–50 years. Animal-related activities (company not responsible for uncontrollable natural behaviour of animals): Camel Ride (Recommended age: 12–50 years) Falcon, Horse Riding.

Helmets & safety gear are highly recommended where applicable, and participation is entirely at your own risk, the company will not be responsible for any accidents, damage, loss, or death from these activities.

By UAE law, pregnant ladies, anyone with back or neck pain, heart problems or other serious medical complaints and infants (under 3 years old) are not allowed during the dune bashing activity by car. (If this conditions are applicable to you, please contact our Consultant to customize your tour)

What To Expect

Dubai

Get ready for your Half day desert safari Dubai as our guide picks you from your selected location or hotel. Board our 4WD vehicle that will take you to the desert. Once you reach the Lahbab desert, be welcomed into an air-conditioned tent with refreshments (Arabic tea/coffee with dates) take a small break for 20-25 minutes, make use of restroom, or even opt for a quad bike drive, while your vehicle ready for the off-road drive with adjusted tyre pressures.

Next, seat comfortably for the dune bashing session. Enjoy the rhythm of the vehicle riding over the sand dunes and feel the adrenaline rush! After around 30-45 minutes of dune bashing, click as many photos you want and relax for some time before you proceed for sand surfing (sandboarding). First, follow the instructions of your guide before you climb up and down the sandbanks on your board. As you surf over the sands, you will find this quite funny and unique! Next, stop for a camel ride in the open desert. Later, relax in an air-conditioned tent and enjoy soft drinks and Arabic tea or coffee with dates.

My half-day desert safari experience in Dubai was absolutely unforgettable and perfectly organized from start to finish. The hotel pickup was smooth and on time, and our tour guide, Muhammad Sajid, immediately made everyone feel welcome with his friendly attitude and professionalism. The drive into the desert was comfortable, and once the dune bashing began, the real excitement started. The ride over the golden dunes was thrilling yet felt completely safe thanks to Muhammad Sajid’s expert driving skills. After the adrenaline rush, we enjoyed a short but authentic camel ride, which was perfect for photos and gave us a true desert experience. The quad biking session was another highlight, offering a fun burst of adventure with clear instructions provided beforehand, making it suitable even for beginners. After all the activities, the refreshments were a welcome break, allowing us to relax and take in the stunning desert scenery. This experience was perfect for me! Because I did it alone, I was looking for something that was not too long. The drive to and from the desert was a total of 2h, and we had about 2h in the desert. I was a little nervous about what the other people would be like, but that passed soon. They put me with a family of 5, so I didn't feel uncomfortable at all! Our guide (unfortunately, I cannot remember his name :( ) was great! We were in contact in the morning to let me know there was going to be a little delay due to traffic. He didn't let me feel left out and even took pictures of me! Last but not least, the price is awesome, given that you are picked up from your hotel and left there after it is all finished.
