We had a group of clients visiting Dublin and they had a bit of spare time for a tour of the city. David brought Irish history to life for them, engaging, informative, funny and always audible! Thanks for a great tour!

Having been introduced to Dublin (and Ireland) by David, it is hard to imagine a world in which we were NOT introduced to Dublin (and Ireland) by David. He is a human fireball of positive energy. If only the rating scale went to “11.” We were travel-weary from a redeye flight and were second-guessing our decision to take a tour of Dublin as opposed to taking a nap. We made the right call. David met us at 2:00 with high adrenaline and a smile. That, plus a cup of coffee, and we were off to the races. David’s knowledge of Dublin and Ireland is encyclopedic, he is an extrovert on steroids (without being overwhelming), and his storytelling/presentation skills are unrivaled. (He was a Shakespearean actor and it shows.). Don't be surprised if he breaks out in song and knows literally everyone he sees. As he got to know us as the tour progressed, he made judgment calls as to where to go next. For example, we briefly mentioned that we liked fine art and —- BOOM — we were inside Dublin’s Museum of Art and he was telling us a gripping story about a long-lost Caravaggio. He gave us excellent recommendations, which we followed up on. And, after we forgot to retrieve sunglasses that we asked him to carry in his backpack, he showed his kindness by traveling all the way to our hotel to drop them off. We had never been to Ireland before. He set the stage as nobody else could. - Rick and Molly

My husband and I took this walking tour as a port stop on a cruise. David was our guide. We also wanted to visit Trinity College and the Book of Kells so David suggested that we complete our visit to those places first. This suggestion worked perfect so that we didn't have to cut our walking tour short. David was a fabulous tour guide! Since we are used to walking at home, we gave David free rein to go at his pace so that we could see as much as possible on our tour. Although it rained off and on throughout the tour, David was able to find places for us to get out of the rain while he talked. We walked a lot, learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed this tour! (Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.)

We had such a great walking tour of Dublin with David!! We did it on our second day of our trip and it was the perfect thing to do early on so we could get acquainted with the city. Felt like we saw all the must see stops and we got a great lesson in Irish history along the way. David really knew his stuff and was such a great storyteller. I definitely felt as if I learned a ton in the three hours we spent together! Would highly recommend for anyone new to Dublin and/or wanting to learn more about Irish history! You won’t regret doing this - the experience was 10/10!

David gave us a great tour of the city. He gave us lots of infomation and stories tailored towards our interests and didnt assume prior knowledge. We were with him nearer to 4 hours than the 3 that we had booked, but he was enthusiastic and always had "just one more story...." right up until the point we parted company. Overall, we were very happy with our tour, and would recommend David as a guide.

This was by far more than a five star tour! David came fully prepared with facts, dates, tons of information, energy, and smiles. He was extremely knowledgeable about every detail regarding Dublin history, architecture, geography, and the delightful tales of his people. David went above and beyond with songs and additional photos and items of interest in a portfolio he carried. He added a “wee bit” of extra time joyfully and graciously to make sure that my Dublin experience was magnificent! Very highly recommend!

David’s Private Walking Tour of Dublin City was absolutely amazing. It was so easy to book a reservation. Communication was always quick and easy, plus he had some excellent recommendations for things to do in the city before and after our tour. We learned so much about the history of the city and had fun doing it. He was charismatic, kind, and knowledgeable. He will even add whatever location or topic you are interested in to the tour. You will not find a better guide who is easier to spend time with. If you are looking to book a tour, he’s the guide to go to.

David gave my husband and I the best tour of Dublin we could have hoped for! He is very friendly, informative and the amount of history he knows is amazing. He shared tons of details about so many different locations, more than we could have learned from a book. He kept a perfect pace for us, which allowed him to share so many special things about the city he obviously loves. We hope to hit him up again on our next trip to Dublin!

I absolutely loved my tour with David! He is extremely knowledgeable and informative about Irish traditions, culture, and history. There’s so much to learn about Dublin, and he made it engaging and memorable. As someone who loves history, I really appreciated how he shared everything I needed to know. He is very professional, truly enthusiastic about what he does, and also a very talented singer. I highly recommend him!
