5.00This tour was well worth the time and money! We really enjoyed Dermit as our guide. He was full of knowledge and humor. It was an all day excursion so be prepared for a lot of time in the bus. Highly recommend!

5.00My trip was on Tue, Apr 21, 2026 and I booked only for myself as 1 Adult which cost me $47.94 The tour guide was Mike and the bus driver was Brian I had a lovely day, they sat me beside a lovely solo female traveller, we were taking photos for one another, got to know one another and by the end of the day we were friends. The day trip itself was lovely. We started our way from the lakes at Glendalough which were absolutely lovely especially that the weather was good. Mike did an optional 40 minute tour for us which was really helpful so we know the history around the church and everything around us. Then we went to the Wicklow Gap for quick 5 minutes hop on/off bus to take a couple of photos. Then we went to Kilkenny, Brian parked just beside the Kilkenny Castle. He said he'd give us. 1hour from 2-3pm.to do lunch but me and the fellow traveller opted to get 1 hour inside of the castle (paid 8 Euro on the front gate for that internal self guided tour). We hurried back to meet Mike infront of the castle gate and did his second optional tour around the city which is highly recommended and was very informative and he left us mid-city to explore in which me and the fellow traveller used the remaining time to see quickly a few things like the front and back gardens of the castle, plus the national craft gallery as well as the butler house and garden. Overall 10/10 for this trip. It was totally worth it and I would have even loved to stay in Glendalough more. Mike's optional tours in each of the locations are a must, trust me you'll learn a lot! Mike passes by the bus a few things to watch while on the road like a copy of the book of kells, maps of the locations we are going, some of the historical Irish animals and locations. I'd like to thank Mike and Brian a lot for a lovely day. I really enjoyed it 👍 One thing I need to warn everyone is please be on time because the bus moves on time, if you are a person that might be 2 minutes late then beware 😏

5.00Book the tour! Took the tour with my friend and our guide Mike was truly great! Impressed , it wasn’t just getting on the bus telling us to get on or off. Instead he interacted! It was truly lovely.

5.00Our tour guide Pat and driver Alec were both excellent. Pat is very knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout the trip. I would recommend this experience although I would have liked more time in Kilkenny as there was lots to see there.

5.00We spent the best touring day ever with Pat and Alec ! 🤩👌🏼 I personally wished I could spent a little bit more time in Glendalough because it was such incredible ! The energy of this place was so amazing ! 😍🌳🪵 Nevertheless the program of the day was really nice and especially all the explanations given by Pat 😄 His sense of humour was also really appreciated 💖 We recommend 200 % 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
