An informative, well-organized, and fun journey through Glendalough,, the Wicklow Mountains before arriving in Kilkenny. In addition to the beauty of the countryside, we experienced sunshine, rain, wind, and hail all within an unforgettable 9 hour adventure. Elisa and Alec took very good care of us.

During the last 18 months my wife and I have been on tours in 33 European countries. Today, our guide Pat was as diligent, organized, professional, knowledgeable, and personable as any tour guide we have had. He should teach classes in how to be a a professional tour guide. Additionally, we prefer native tour guides who speak intelligible English. Pat easily meets both qualifications. Also, Egis was the perfect driver, patient, safe, courteous, and confident. We have had drivers who gave us a thrill ride. We felt safe with Egis, even in the big bus on the narrow country roads of Ireland. Thank you for employing such outstanding people.

I joined this tour on May 12th, 2026 and had a lovely time! Mike and Adam were amazing, and I learned about Ireland while the bus was moving, and enjoyed the sights when we stopped. The admission fee is well worth the duration of this tour. I thought everything about this tour was perfectly executed, and I really enjoyed my time. It's best for anyone, at any age. There's a ton of options while stopped to do what you wish depending on age or physical capability. Just perfect! Thank you Mike and Adam!

This is a wonderful tour for anyone staying in Dublin that wants to see nature during their stay. Each stop of the tour was beautiful, we thoroughly enjoyed walking through the trails of Glendalough and the town of Kilkenny is very charming. By far the best tour guide I have ever had - he shared such a thorough history of Ireland while also leaving space for us to enjoy the countryside in peace - at the end of the tour he played lovely music as well. Brian is also a wonderful driver. This tour is worth it if you are visiting Dublin!

All 3 stops had fantastic views, although some walking is involved to find the best views. During the two stops that we had time to roam, there was showers (which is typical May weather for Ireland!). So be prepared for rain! The photo stop is beautiful and our driver, John, managed to stop in a place that the best views were only steps away. Our tour guide was full of stories, explained each experience, and even asked if we all understood him referencing his [beautiful] Irish accent. Overall the experience we received from Collins Tours was fantastic!

Both stops were stupendous, and very different. At Glebdalough I had a lovely long walk in beautiful nature. In Kilkenny there were shops and ancient architecture, as well as the castle, and wonderful artists across the way.
