During our buggy tour of Puerto Plata, we make a fascinating stop at the local coffee and cocoa plantations. Here, you will be able to witness the coffee and chocolate making process up close, from harvesting to the final product. On these plantations, you will learn about the traditional techniques used to select and harvest coffee and cocoa beans. In addition, you will be able to observe how these ingredients are roasted, ground and prepared to obtain the delicious coffee and chocolate that we enjoy so much. 5.00We had an amazing time Our guide, the photographer, our driver and the very nice family we met who showed us all around their property. They showed us how they make chocolate and all the fruit trees. We even me the 95 year old grandfather. Very memorable experience and I highly recommend doing this . I got soaked and muddy but it was awesome

5.00Six of us seniors (51-60 years old ) took the Dune Buggy adventure. It was great and we got really muddy. The staff is informative and kind. We especially wanted to give a shout-out to our driver, Jamell. He was very conversational and even took us to a great restaurant on the way back to the ship. By the end of the day he referred to us as part of his “family” and that felt good. Thank you all for a great day!

5.00It was just us and our guide, who was very helpful so it felt like our private tour. The trip only lasted 2 hours, not 4 as advertised which actually worked out better for us. We went up in the country and then stopped at the beach. The scenery was amazing!
