Chris our Guide was fabulous, stopped at molars statues, Allans beach where there was heaps of male and female seals. Stopped at Dunedin railway station, Otago Uni, Dunedin Botanical gardens, Baldwin St, then drove to Point Chalmers to drop off passengers for cruise ship. Next drove back to Dunedin past Forsyth barr Stadium, and finally arriving back where the tour stated the Octagon.

I wasn’t sure what to expect for Dunedin, knowing it was a smaller city; I would've enjoyed just spending the day meandering Dunedin, but was told to check out the penguins and other animals. I found this tour on Viator and was pleasantly pleased. Chris was the superb tour operator, giving us a variety of personal and historical references. I’m looking forward to seeing the penguins and other animals, hopefully, should we be able to spot them. Would’ve been nice to have had a little more time factored into the tour so that we could have stopped a bit longer but the advantage of doing the morning tour was that we had the afternoon should we want to go back to anything. One thing to note for this region, distance needs to be taken into Count as very little is next to each other and if you were going from the boat to Dunedin, you need to factor about 20–30 minutes and if you went to the beach, you need to factor nearly a 90 minute travel time round-trip. We got to see some great wildlife and we would love to come back and check out the city of Dunedin.

We were on a cruise stop and took this excursion with our guide Chris. The tour was well paced and Chris showed us the best of Dunedin. The Otago peninsula was spectacular and we got up close to sea lions. A really great day seeing the local area. 100% recommended.

Chris has been doing these tours for many years and is very good as a guide. He knows the interesting stories and facts to share, the places of interest and some of the not so visited locations to see what New Zealand’s beauty is all about.

What a unique experience to fly over the beautiful land in Piction. Our pilot was so informative and we even landed on the owners property on a hilly grass runway. The whole experience was something will never forget

Great overview of the entire area, Dunedin city and nice drive through the countryside and beaches. Chris’ knowledge of the area, culture, history, birds and marine life enhanced the trip, the highlight of which was the number of New Zealand sea lions we saw at Alan’s beach.
