Wildlife Wonders' Sanctuary offers a glimpse into an Otways habitat before the arrival of predators such as foxes and cats. Wildlife lives freely in a natural habitat, without cages, and on a wildlife walk they can be seen going about their daily lives.
Dusk is a time when most animals are active, as nocturnal animals rise for the night and day-active animals return to rest. Dusk Discovery tours are limited to just 10 people, allowing time to capture stunning sunsets as well as amazing wildlife viewing and photography opportunities.
As with all of Wildlife Wonders' experiences, 100% of profits go to support conservation and research into Australia's threatened species.

This Dusk Discovery wildlife tour gives visitors access to the Wildlife Wonders sanctuary as the sun is setting and the resident wildlife is most active. Potoroos, bandicoots, pademelons and more are just waking up and starting their active nights of feeding and foraging, while the day-active animals are seeking their favourite spots to snooze for the night. On this small, intimate, 90-minute tour, you will follow a 1.4km winding path through a range of habitats, while your conservationist guide gives you exclusive insights into the lives of the elusive and rarely seen animals who call the Otways home. There will also be the opportunity for spectacular sunset photo opportunities. The experience includes a mezze plate of local delights with beer or wine.

We really enjoyed this experience. The guide was very informative, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was lovely to see all of the animals in their natural surroundings. The tour was well equipped and organised. We never felt rushed. We took our 6month old daughter and felt so welcomed.

A wonderful experience with plenty of amazing native wildlife close encounters. Our biologist guide was sensational, as was our evening meal at the end of the tour! Highly recommend and so pleased to have had the opportunity to also support this social enterprise and conservation effort. Huge congrats to the great team at Wildlife Wonders! And a special thank you to the team for providing the wheelchair and warm blankets so our mother could enjoy the experience so comfortably!

We took some overseas visitors on this tour, to show them native animals in their natural environment. The tour did not disappoint and provided some great photo opportunities and enjoyment of the Australian natural habitat. Zoe our guide was passionate and knowledgeable and this was infectious. Would highly recommend.

I’m delighted that we found the option for the dusk tour. There were only three of us but it wouldn’t have made a difference with a larger group. There were only staff have the tours down to a science. The ear pieces were ideal to hear every word by the guide. We enjoyed our tour by Alon. Very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. We highly recommend visiting this special place!we saw so many animals!

What an exciting discovery. I had heard of the name but never connected with the fact. I also had a business reason to present at this place. We were greeted so warmly and voluntarily we could not refuse to take the Dusk tour. What they are endeavoring to do is so suitable for our greater appreciation of our mutual Wildlife Heritage. Our tour guide was educational, conversant and worked the Group nicely

Saw my DREAM animal: an echidna!!!!!!! I was blown away by such an immersive experience, not only you get to see animals but you also smell the eucalyptus, feel the ocean’s breeze and hear the bird’s calls. Truly magical, thank you to our tour guide Nicole!!

It was a wonderful experience. We had the 18:30 tour, which started with a very delicious dinner. In doing so, already seen an emu family with 4 babies and a kangaroo. Afterwards we are equipped with binoculars and headphones in the park. You could tell that our guide was there with heart and soul. The tour through the forest was enchanting! We have seen almost all described animals that can live here without being locked up or with behavioural problems!

The whole wildlife wonders concept and experience is amazing. We commenced with an amazing light meal with choice of soft drink, wine or mixer and got to know others in the group around the table. The tour then commenced as we walked through grasslands, bushland and forest spotting fufus bellied pademelons, potaroos , wallabies, koalas, and various bird life and bird call. We saw a magnificent sunset over cape otway. This conservation/ research focussed social enterprise is fantastic and well worth supporting for the sake of our future.
