Nothing says Christmas like Dyker Heights, the most famous display of lights on the planet. Locals have been decorating their homes—personally and professionally—since the '80s, making it a true NYC winter wonderland.
THE TOUR WILL TAKE PLACE RAIN or SHINE!
The ride from Midtown to Dyker Heights in Brooklyn is about an hour long on board of our comfortable coach fully heated with a restroom on board.
Your guide will escort you to Lucy Spata's house, the house that started this tradition, and walk you through the most illuminated streets before taking you back to the bus. You will spend about an hour in Dyker Heights strolling around and taking pictures.
The next stop will be at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge in the DUMBO/Brooklyn Heights area of Brooklyn. You will have about 25 minutes to take pictures of the breathtaking Manhattan skyline and the Bridge.

This was worth the time and money to see Christmas lights in Brooklyn an area you might normally visit. This tour also allowed for some good photo ops in dumbo of the skyline of my at night. Our guide Antonio was very friendly and helpful and the driver he paired with was really nice and friendly as well!

Most of the trip was good, but there were some things I didn't like that detracted from the overall experience. Firstly, your online description and 'rules of the road' explicitly said No food or Drink onboard. This made me think it was forbidden and a check of the seats would be made and items confiscated. I threw out my tea before boarding, only to see other passengers happily eating snacks and drinking beverages. This ticks me off, I could have had my beverage, yet had nothing to drink for 4 hours and was thirsty! Secondly, I found the tour guide John to be quite annoying. He repeated most of his instructions at least 3x's as if the group were challenged adults. He also talked way too much!!! At the outset After triply giving info about our stops, he said he wouldn't be talking much along the drive, yet he spoke non-stop. As far as his red wand to follow him in Dykers Heights, that was ineffective. Another Guide had an umbrella w/bright lights which was far easier to see. Thirdly, we did a Bathroom Stop that he said would be super quick, but took more than 1/2 hr. As the bathrooms were located across the Mall we were at, and took time to get there. Yet when we did the Bklyn Bridge view w/bathroom, being much closer, we were rushed back to the bus, Barely able to snap 1 photo. These were my disappointments, which could be improved upon w/better attention to logistics and more customer courtesies.

We had an excellent tour led by Jorge. We journeyed from Midtown to Brooklyn, with a bathroom stop included, and made are way through Dyker Heights. We had the option to stay with the guide or self explore. It was the perfect time to walk around and enjoy. The transportation in and out of this area made the tour well worth it. The traffic was insane, but the guide and driver handled it well and kept us entertained with information on the city. Jorge was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this trip to Christmas lovers. I would also recommend that those booking be prepared for a 4-5 hour activity based on traffic. The second stop at the Brooklyn Bridge in DUMBO was magical!

Three of us sisters went on this tour and it was very nice. It was a very cold evening, but thank God most of it was being in the bus but when we did get off the bus to go see the lights of these amazing homes we didn’t even think about the cold! Our tour guide did the tour in English and in Spanish. He was fabulous And did a great job. Very enjoyable and tour guide very informative.

This tour was good because Jim our guide gave such a great insight about New York history and the different battles with the American Revolution. What he didn’t know was my partner is a historian librarian and currently doing many things concerning the American Revolution since next year is 250th anniversary. Jim even spoke about writings of certain Authors. My partner basically not only was able to fact check his info , he also did say he learned from Jim also. It was a nice surprise for us to get that History lesson. Dyker Heights is beautiful but of course very cold and it was kinda tough to walk around since it snowed. If you can’t walk a lot or fast or do not tolerate the cold , a walking tour for this is not a good option for you . Once house was raising money for St. Jude’s and selling French fries and hot chocolate and picture with Santa . What a great cause . It did seem to be the only house we were given any time to really stop at as there were other people selling drinks and treats . You can’t stop because then you lose your group and you are in a sea of people . Even to take pictures or walk at your pace is hard . I know it’s cold and the tours are on a strict time schedule but I do wish the guides would slow down alittle . This is the second time we did this tour but with a different company and it was the same the first time few years back . Maybe it would be better to give everyone 45 minutes to walk around by them selves ( if chose to) and then we have to be back at pick up spot 15 minutes before bus returns ? Trust me 45 minutes in the cold is fine . I just felt between become the cold and snowy ground , the groups of people , and keeping up with Jim , I looked down more than up . Many houses I didn’t even look . I give this more as a warning to others and a suggestion for maybe some Changes but I still think the tour was good . They were on time , Jim and the driver Tom were great and the bus was comfortable.

Our driver Timmy and guide Louis were great. It is a fast pace tour but lots of houses to see. The information given on bus during the bus ride was very informative about the city.

We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Matt and driver Mike! When I booked this, I was expecting a bus ride to Dyker Heights, to be dropped off and come back to the bus. Boy, was I wrong! We had a wonderful, accommodating, insightful experience. My husband enjoyed the stories and history that Matt shared. The added restroom break for my young daughter was a plus! The stop at the Brooklyn Bridge was unexpected, but amazing! It was the perfect place. 10/10 recommend and would do this again!

Matt our Tour Guide was Fantastic and very knowledgeable, gave us a great tour and some history on our way, the tour was amazin, the lights were show stopping, and the trip was very well organised, so pleased we opted to do this, of course we cant forget Mike our coach driver. We stopped off for rest rooms, and we ended our trip right outside Bryant park which was perfect! Matt even snapped some photos of us outside some of the houses, and the stop at dumbo bridge was great. A must do trip at christmas
