Nothing says Christmas like Dyker Heights, the most famous display of lights on the planet. Locals have been decorating their homes—personally and professionally—since the '80s, making it a true NYC winter wonderland.
THE TOUR WILL TAKE PLACE RAIN or SHINE!
The ride from Midtown to Dyker Heights in Brooklyn is about an hour long on board of our comfortable coach fully heated with a restroom on board.
Your guide will escort you to Lucy Spata's house, the house that started this tradition, and walk you through the most illuminated streets before taking you back to the bus. You will spend about an hour in Dyker Heights strolling around and taking pictures.
The next stop will be at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge in the DUMBO/Brooklyn Heights area of Brooklyn. You will have about 25 minutes to take pictures of the breathtaking Manhattan skyline and the Bridge.
Then you will return to Manhattan via the Manhattan Bridge. The tour ends at the Bryant Park Winter Village.

What To Expect
Dyker Heights
This is the main stop of our tour. (Note: buses are not allowed in Dyker Heights because of the narrow streets). Your guide will escort you to the two most illuminated streets and orient you. You will then have an hour to explore and take pictures on your own.
Brooklyn Heights
Stop to enjoy spectacular views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the breathtaking Manhattan Skyline illuminated! (Note: duration can be between 20-30 minutes depend on traffic.)

5.00Our guide was John, same name as our driver. John, our guide, was very knowledgeable about New York, having been born and bred in the city. The personal comments such as his local school, rivalries, etc. really added to the experience. Health and safety appeared high on his priority list. Very reassuring. Dyker Heights was amazing. Never experienced anything like it before. The effort put into decorating their homes was exceptional.
