Gamle Stavanger is the historical area of Stavanger. The area consists largely of restored wooden buildings built in the 18th century and early 19th century.
Breidablikk Museum
This house is almost exactly as it was a few hundred years ago when the resident passed away. The garden is worth visiting all year round.

Good way to visit Stavanger but quite hard to score well.

4.00We used this as an interesting way to spend the day in Stavanger during a Norwegian Cruise rather than spending a lot of money on a tour and in that regard it worked well. It was a tricky start, as the first place had more than one entrance and the clue was obviously at the other one. Also, Sunday is not a great day for this as a lot of places weren't open or opened late. We also didn't realise about scoring extra points for finding the places. Doing it in English also seemed to make a couple of things harder. But we gradually got better. So, overall, there are things to work on, but it was fun anyway, and fulfilled the primary purpose of seeing Stavanger.

3.00The clues should be in order in locations. After walking 15 minutes back and forth in town to each clue, we got tired and gave up. They were great locations with historic stories.

1.00Unfortunately due to bad weather unable to dock at Stavanger so could not do the activity. Not able to let Viator know in dance to cancel activity
