Welcome to your tour and one of the most iconic buildings in London. Discover the iconic sites on the outer walls such as Traitor’s Gate and Tower Hill with your guide before entering the complex to explore one of Britain’s most historic buildings at your own pace. 4.00Great tour but wished we had a little more time at Tower of London. We were traveling with young kids and older grownups so moved more slowly. Just an FYI: The tour guide assigned doesn’t give any information during the boat ride. The boat crew gave some highlighted some of the sights during the ride but I was surprised there wasn’t more from the tour guide.

5.00This tour was a very pleasant surprise, particularly with kids. Our guide, Nathan, had outstanding knowledge and was exceptionally entertaining. The Tower itself was far more interesting than I expected with loads of interactive features to help you understand context. The Crown Jewels were a highlight but the whole castle had a wealth of exhibits to roam. The next stop was up the river in Westminster. We took a boat on the Thames to get there which I must have missed in the tour description because it was a really fun surprise for all of us. It’s a great way to take in large swaths of the city at once. The remainder of time is a lot of walking so I’d recommend taking some snacks, water, and your most comfortable shoes.
