Let GoCar take you off the beaten path through many of San Diego’s iconic parks like the Balboa Park and Petco Park on the way to Hillcrest and back. Snap some amazing photos along the Pacific Ocean and see the San Diego up close. You can even park and take a stroll along if you choose. On the way back explore the boutique shopping districts of Hillcrest. This tour is approximately two hours drive time at a slow pace and has several fun, informative detours and stop options along the way. If you want to extend the tour you have the option of taking the Oldtown loop at the end of the tour.

5.00This is an excellent way to see the city of San Diego! We chose the 2 hour tour which took us all through downtown, Hillcrest, Old Town, Balboa Park, etc. The staff at the office were so kind and patient with us. There were 4 of us, myself, my husband and our 2 children (11, 13), so we had 2 gocars. My husband was in the yellow one, and I am bigger in the middle, so I opted to upgrade to the electric car, because it was easier for me to get in and out of it. The electric car was very fun to drive! I think I liked it more than my husband liked the yellow car, but we had a great time. I would recommend the electric upgrade, but that's just me. You learn a lot about the history and layout of the city and how things came to be. I would very much recommend this tour and we look forward to doing it again in other cities!!!

5.00This gocar was the highlight of my trip to San Diego. It’s so cute and easy to drive. It was a total of 6 of us and someone in our grp did not reserve a car. Kelvin was so helpful and was able to get us another car so we all could tour San Diego together. I love that the gps gives you so much information about the area you are driving in. It’s a must do activity in San Diego. The cons: if you get lost and you will, the gps stops talking and you need to follow the gps monitor on the car. I will recommend this activity to friends and family.

5.00This was an amazing excursion. Highly recommend it. I have not been on a tour where you are on your own and have a GPS take you around. For me this was great and did not have to wait for anyone.

5.00Doing the Early bird trip saves money and also allows you to finish before the midday sun is burning you. San Diego is a large city and so no walking tour with cover it all, and being inside a bus is never as good as the open air. So this tour allows one driver one photographer and GOCAR your trusty story teller and navigator. Great way to see a lot of the city. Just remember to stop when GoCar is giving a in death history lesson or she cuts off to the next direction!

5.00Doing the early trip saves money and also completes before the heat is at its worse. As San Diageo is so large walking is not an option and being inside a bus is not as good as being in the GoCar. One driver one photographer. The Car is your companion telling stories and giving directions as you go. Just remember to stop when she gets into a deep description, because if you move off the gps spot she stops !
