This was way more rugged and way more fun than I expected. My husband had a great time driving. Steve, our guide, gave precise instructions but in a lighthearted way. He was obviously enjoying it, which made it more enjoyable for us. And to top it off the scenery was gorgeous. If we come back this way we will book another tour with Off the Grid 4x4 Tours.

We had an awesome time out at Sand Hollow with Steve. He made the whole trip super fun and easy from the start. I drove one of his Jeeps with him and my son riding along, and we had another Jeep with one of my coworkers and his family. Steve really knows the area and took us on a really fun route with a couple cool stops along the way. We checked out a war memorial called “The Fallen,” which was really cool to see out there, and also stopped at the Flintstone House a unique spot. The whole day was a perfect mix of good trails, awesome views, and just hanging out. Steve kept it laid back but still made sure we got a great off-road experience. Definitely an awesome experience—already looking forward to getting back out there with Steve again and trying some more trails. I'll definitely be back soon.

We had an absolute blast out at Sand Hollow with Steve. From the start, he made the whole experience easy, fun, and super memorable. I drove one of his Jeeps with him and my son riding along, while another Jeep had a few of my coworkers—perfect setup for a great day on the trails. Steve knows the area inside and out and took us on an awesome route with a couple really cool stops along the way. We checked out the war memorial called “The Fallen,” which was something you don’t expect to see out there and definitely left an impression. We also stopped at the Flintstone House, which was just plain fun and unique. The whole ride was a perfect mix of adventure, great views, and good company. Steve kept things relaxed but still made sure we got the full off-road experience. Overall, it was an awesome time, and I’m already looking forward to getting back out there for another trail run with Steve. Highly recommend.

This was one of the most exciting adventures my wife and I have ever had. We have never been rock crawling before, and to be honest we weren’t sure that we would enjoy this. But what an experience!! We crawled up and down rock obstacles that I was sure would have rolled the jeep over. Steve was great at not only successfully getting us up and down but successfully having us enjoy the entire experience. I would recommend Steve and this tour to anyone!! It was better than the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland. Thank you Steve and Kristen. We had a great time!

Such an amazing trail with an equally amazing tour guide and driver. My kids got scared at points but our driver was always so reassuring! But, they really loved when we got to the sand and our driver got to have some fun on all the pumps and turns. My oldest kept saying put your hands up it’s like a rollercoaster! We stopped at some pretty awesome places including a memorial for those we’ve lost in service of our country, a rock cave they call “the Flintstone House”, and some fun climbing on rocks and playing in the sand. Couldn’t have asked for a better day with my family!

We had an awesome experience and a great time exploring Sand Hollow memorial with Steve and Kristin. Steve, our guide, gave me the opportunity to navigate the rig for my first time and I didn’t have any trouble. Steve was very knowledgeable and helped me in every way to have a safe and fun experience. This was my very first time rock climbing and I was a bit apprehensive at first, but with Steves great help and knowledge, I was able to maneuver the jeep over terrain that seemed impassable at first, but very doable. I would definitely recommend them for a fun and safe adventure to anyone looking to get out into nature and enjoy some great rock crawling.

Our Jeep tour to the Memorial for the Fallen was an experience I’ll never forget. It wasn’t just about the off-roading adventure—it was about honoring the heroes who gave their lives and feeling the deep sense of respect this place carries. Steve shared the history and meaning behind the memorial in such a powerful way, creating moments of reflection along the trail. The views were stunning, the ride was smooth and safe, and the entire experience was filled with emotion and gratitude. This tour is so much more than just a ride—it’s a tribute, a reminder, and an experience everyone should take at least once!
