The Marble Mountains
Marble Mountains Danang is a group of five limestone mountains in Vietnam. This destination is not only a tourist attraction but also a Buddha worship site. Marble Mountains is a natural masterpiece bestowed to the land of Da Nang. With the harmonious beauty of the ecological area and the spiritual and cultural life, this destination attracts a lot of visitors. According to Cham legend, one day a dragon flew to Non Nuoc beach and laid an egg there. After a long time, the egg hatched and a beautiful girl stepped out of the egg. The egg shell was broken into 5 pieces that became the five magical mountains as we see today. In 1825, emperor Minh Mang named this mountain complex Marble Mountains, which means “Ngu Hanh Son” in Vietnamese. Each mountain was named after one of the five elements of Eastern philosophy: metal, water, fire, wood and earth. These names remain unchanged until now, and Marble Mountains have become a natural attraction with many majestic peaks, caves and temples.

5.00Our group was led by monkey, hung was my easy rider. They were all great safe drivers and loads of fun, they took us to great spots and we all had such a good time. They also gave us loads of free coffee etc.

5.00This was THE way to do the Hai Van Pass. We got what we expected and so much more! Incredible views, my favorite waterfall in Asia, central Vietnamese historic sights and so much more. “Monkey” was an incredible guide who made us laugh while feeling so safe. Everything was well organized and ran so smoothly. One of my very days on my trip in Southeast Asia.

5.00An all day affair, what a fantastic trip. The drivers were so tentative, made great stops for photos, swimming and great views. Me and my husband did this as part of our honeymoon. There were regular stops for drinks, toilet and fantastic lunch! We have all our luggage (bags not suitcases) on the back of the bikes with ease. Drivers are really safe and mindful on the roads. During the stops they give you as much time as you need so didn't feel rushed during any of them. A brilliant day! We paired with Tri and Minh who were both brilliant!! I would definitely do this again if (when) I return to Vietnam!!

5.00We had an amazing Easy Rider motorbike tour from Hoi An to Hue and can highly recommend it. Our drivers were punctual and drove very carefully, which made us feel safe the entire time. They were also extremely attentive and helpful, and our guide spoke very good English. When they arrived, they checked our luggage and securely packed our large backpacks onto the back of the bikes without any issues. However, suitcases cannot be transported on the bikes—they offer to send them separately for a small extra fee. We were provided with helmets, although they were a bit uncomfortable; mine was too large and had a slightly unpleasant smell inside, so better cleaning would be appreciated. The route was fantastic, with many well-chosen stops at beautiful, photogenic locations—not touristy or pushy at all. Our first stop was Marble Mountain, where tickets and the elevator were included, and we had about 1.5 hours to explore independently. We skipped Da Nang Beach due to strong waves but visited the Golden Bridge instead. After about 30 minutes of riding, we stopped at a lovely café on the Hai Van Pass with stunning views and enjoyed a coffee. Our guide took great photos of us throughout the trip, often suggesting the best spots and even taking pictures on our phones without us having to ask. We also stopped at the top of the pass to explore the old fort, then continued down, taking more photos of the scenic curves along the way. Around 2 pm, we had lunch at Long Co Beach at a seaside restaurant, where we enjoyed fresh fish and seafood (not included in the price). Later, we visited a beautiful waterfall where we had about 30 minutes to swim, and again the guides took fantastic photos and videos for us. We also stopped at a quiet, authentic fishing village and finally at a rice field at sunset. Every stop was perfectly timed, and the whole day felt very well organized. It was truly a perfect and memorable experience. If you’re not afraid of riding on a motorbike, this is an unforgettable way to travel between Hoi An and Hue.
