The Marble Mountains
Marble Mountains Danang is a group of five limestone mountains in Vietnam. This destination is not only a tourist attraction but also a Buddha worship site. Marble Mountains is a natural masterpiece bestowed to the land of Da Nang. With the harmonious beauty of the ecological area and the spiritual and cultural life, this destination attracts a lot of visitors. According to Cham legend, one day a dragon flew to Non Nuoc beach and laid an egg there. After a long time, the egg hatched and a beautiful girl stepped out of the egg. The egg shell was broken into 5 pieces that became the five magical mountains as we see today. In 1825, emperor Minh Mang named this mountain complex Marble Mountains, which means “Ngu Hanh Son” in Vietnamese. Each mountain was named after one of the five elements of Eastern philosophy: metal, water, fire, wood and earth. These names remain unchanged until now, and Marble Mountains have become a natural attraction with many majestic peaks, caves and temples.

5.00Excellent experience travelling from Hoi An to Hue with my partner. We had a carry on bag each and a big suitcase and they were all transported on the back of the motorbike. Lots of scenic stops on the way, including beautiful Marble Mountains. We had Dan And Truyen and they were amazing. Thank you!

5.00Such a fun day, slightly apprehensive as 40 yrs+ since been on a motorbike but I grinned like a Cheshire Cat all day! Loved swooping along the switchbacks on the pass. Hai was the sweetest; safe driving and no complaints every time I kicked him getting off!! Even took me to see monkeys as I thought Marble Mountain was same as Monkey mountain. His photo shoots were fun and far better than any I took. The scenery and views were stunning, from Hai Van pass to the little fishing village after the waterfall and Lang Co beach. Had time to wander, didn’t feel pressured to move on. So glad I did this (never too old!).

5.00As an older couple, we were a little hesitant about whether we could manage it. We had the most fantastic day with Ninh and Hua … they took such good care of us and made it all so much fun. Even though it was pouring with rain when we started it was a fantastic experience and we saw everything you wanted to see. Thank you guys for an experience we won’t forget.

5.00What a brilliant experience! Trong, Hong, and the two other wonderful drivers made myself and my friends feel so safe. Trong is very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about each attraction we visited. We saw the Lady Buddha, swam in a waterfall, visited the Hai Van gate, Dragon Bridge, and lots of other breathtaking views. We also stopped for coffee and lunch. The rain didn’t impact us at all and I would recommend it as a wonderful day out whether you’re experienced on the bikes or not.

5.00We went with Quang and Hong. The English of Quang was perfect and clear to understand. We made a lot of stops. Either for photos, for coffee with a beautiful view or to listen to us about the country. Individual stops were also possible. We also had perfect weather that day. We were very happy with our trip. 🤭
