What To Expect
Experience the authentic arctic of Rovaniemi like a local – Drive a snowmobile through the frozen lakes, admire the frosty trees and enjoy the thrill of speed in the Lappish wilderness in Rovaniemi! This easy 1 hour snowmobile safari, departing from Rovaniemi, is perfect from beginners to more advanced drivers alike. Your professional guide will instruct you how to drive a snowmobile, and you will also plan the route and speed according to your wishes. The safari will start by driving on a thick frozen river and goes deep into the forest. The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license – A1, T, A or B category (please check that it is valid in Finland!). Child travelling as a passenger on the snowmobile, needs to be at least 140cm tall and pay the adult price. Child rate applies when child is travelling in a sledge. Please note that if the minimum amount of participants is not filled, we reserve the right to combine the slot times.

5.00The instructor was very patient and kind. He made sure we got the most out of our experience! For example, stopping off at a location to see a reindeer farm. Would recommend but wrap up warm even though you get snow gear!

5.00Snowmobile was fantastic. Such a great experience. Our guide Leo was amazing, so friendly. And kept ensuring we was all comfortable, happy and enjoying the ride. I could not recommend this enough. Took us to some lovely viewing points and offered to take pictures for us. Also explained a lot of facts about Finland when we made stops.
