Great tour and great food. My husband and I did this food tour with Martina on our first night in Venice. It was a great way to explore Venice’s food culture and meet some lovely people. Martina was so kind and welcoming, she put us all at ease. Everyone one the tour was nice and friendly. Highly recommend. Also, they were able to accommodate my dietary needs with some wonderful alternative foods.

If you want a bit of Venetian education you should definitely do this. Our guide Marianna was fab, so knowledgeable about Venice as she was born and raised, but also lived in the UK for a number of years. A really great experience, good food, good wine and really interesting people

On our second night in Venice, we decided to book this food tour and it was an experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. Our tour guide was Marianna, who was an absolute gem! She was so informative, personable, and hilarious. Not only did she take us to local authentic Venetian restaurants and bacaros, but she also taught us so much about Venetian life and culture. This tour was an absolute delight, I highly recommend to anyone who wishes to not only enjoy some INCREDIBLE food but to be able learn and appreciate beautiful Venice and its marvelous heritage.

Great evening, different foods to try, Marianne gave fantastic advice and took us to some little gems, food tasting was good, got to try things that I wouldn’t order from the menu, such a shame we were only here 2 nights and couldn’t return to the recommended places. We also met some lovely people, it’s a really great way to have a night out, meet new people, it’s not a late evening either especially after a day exploring. We were lucky in our group and ended up in a lovely bar sampling the local wine.

The tour was delightful and the company great. Our guide Anna was warm and cheerful and made all the arrangements seamless at each spot we visited. Was wonderful to go around with a local and stop at places we never would have found otherwise! A lovely way to spend the morning.

We highly recommend this food tour. Mariana was a fantastic host and guide. She certainly has the Venetian history and I believe she indicated her family’s been in Venice since the 1500s. Don’t let her British accent fool you, she’ll explain!!! We visited several amazing locations and had scrumptious foods, sweet treats, and a variety of wines. We started out at a local bacari (traditional wine bars that serve small plates) we tried cicchetti (mini sandwiches without the crust). The one we entered was supposed to be one that Christopher Columbus visited or frequented. The mini sandwiches were delicious and the place was crowded with locals. Then we attended a Salumeria (meat, cheese , wine, oil, etc shop. That was owned by a local, Roby send Guidy. I believe they have owned the shop for at least 30 years. It’s located on S Polo 1597. We were served a platter of cheeses, meats, bread, and wine that were all delicious. We also visited a restaurant and hd delicious pasta, seafood, and wine! We visited another place with a takeout menu only. That was amazing. Scrumptious fried sandwich. I’m running out of text but we ended the evening with delicious gelato. You will not leave this food tour hungry or thirsty. You will meet fantastic people and if your guide is Mariana, you will have a blast.
