Greta was a lovely host and we enjoyed all the local bites, stories, and meeting our small group of others from many places around the world. Overall, a great way to sample the regional cuisine, get to know other travelers, and visit the city for an up close and personal view of Venice off the beaten path.

With Marianna as our guide we had the best start to our NYE! Our family of four with two teenagers absolutely loved this walking tour. Our small group (all Aussies by coincidence!) go along so well and we enjoyed tasting food around Venice, drinking wine and sitting down at a restaurant for pasta and fried fish. We were so full by the end of it and ready to wait for the fireworks! I recommend this tour and do it at the start of your stay so we know where to eat and drink - like a local! Thank you Marianna for sharing your stories and giving us an experience to remember forever.

This was the best tour (food tour, Venice) , hands down I had ever been on, led by Marianna (hopefully I got that right). It felt personal, warm, funny, engaging, fascinating and many other superlatives by a tour guide that in our opinion is the best of all for one reason …. Genuinely themselves.

We did a walking food tour in Venice last night and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Marianna, was incredibly informative, funny, and easy to listen to. She shared so much about Venetian food, culture, and history in a way that made everything feel approachable and fun. What really made the tour stand out were her insider tips — especially on how to avoid tourist traps and how locals actually eat and enjoy Venetian cuisine. The food stops were great, but the knowledge she shared made it even better. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Venice, especially if it’s your first time in Venice or even your first time in Italy.

Carlo was an incredible guide! We loved hearing the stories about the Venetian owners of the food stops, as well as about Venice itself. Each stop had incredible food and we didn’t want the tour to end. Would highly recommend this tour for a great survey of Venetian food!

This tour was a blast! Carlo was an amazing guide. He was full of knowledge and recommendations at each stop. He gave the tour a very laid back and personal feel. All the stops were delicious! We took this tour with our teenage daughters and there was nonalcoholic drinks at each stop for them. Book this tour!

The "Eat Like a Local" tour is expensive but brilliant- our guide (Giorgia) was personable, friendly and knowledgeable about the area and brought us to authentic gems giving fascinating guidance on all aspects of being Venetian in flawless English while treating us to wonderful food and wine. There's not much walking and it's a great evening in Venice. Hugely recommended.
