Loved the three hour food tour! Greta was an awesome tour guide, and we really loved the variety and quality of the Venetian food/drink sampling! Also was a surprise to see how often during the tour seagulls would actively hunt mostly tourists for food they were carrying :p We visited about four/five places, each with their own unique historical legacy within Venice. All ~15-20 ish food/drink items sampled on the tour were delicious, with specific liking to the seafood and wine entries. And of course top that off with a small coffee stop before the Rialto Bridge and wrapped up with queuing for some great gelato 😋 Greta was great with providing insight into Venetian food, life in the city and history. The small tips and tricks of looking for good food were helpful. Also the small trivia here and there around Venice was really cool to hear. The seagulls would hunt in packs of 10-15: most would sit on rooftops to find unaware tourists. 5 would do a hit-and-run on passerby’s to steal their pizza or bread, then the other seagulls would swoop in to devour the pizza (toppings, crust), only leaving scraps left for the pigeons to scavenge. A pizza could evaporate within 5 minutes of being caught by seagulls. Would highly recommend to anyone to book the Venice Food Tour! And to see seagull hunting tactics

We had the best time on this tour. A great way to start our trip because then we knew some areas and places that we could go back to on following days! Carlo was amazing and showed us a lot in a short amount of time, including some Venetian staples and how to tell the authentic from the rest. We had plenty of food and really enjoyed the experience.

Wow, what an experience! We could not have had a better time with Lorenzo. We had a group of 8 and it was so fun trying some new foods and hearing about the history behind them. We took this tour on our last full day in Venice and I really wish we had more time to check out the places Lorenzo suggested to us. We were fortunate to return to the deli and grab some truffle items and balsamic before we headed to Milan. If you are considering a food tour, this one is it. We had chichetti, some cheeses, meats, a lovely lunch with pasta, apertifs and some coffee and gelato to end the day. Book this one fast because it really was that good.

We had the most delightful time walking through Venice while trying the best of local food in out of the way places. Our guide, Anna was welcoming and taught us much about Venetian culinary customs. She is amazing and obviously passionate about ensuring that others experience the richness of food and drink of Italy! Don't miss this fantastic opportunity!
