What To Expect

Meet me at my house in central Bergamo. Over a drink and snack, we first chat about the daily menu and get to know each other. You are going to prepare some typical Italian recipes, using the freshest seasonal ingredients, and then basic cooking techniques to simply enhance the natural flavor of the food. We could prepare fresh pasta such as tagliatelle, casoncelli, lasagna and different sauces which are easy to do again at home (Bolognese, pesto, fish sauce). As an alternative, if you don't like pasta, we could prepare some traditional meat and seafood dishes or yeast products (pizza, focaccia, panzerotti ..) The menu also includes: - Welcome drinks (prosecco and snacks) - Starters (cheeses, salami and vegetables) - Wine - Dessert: Sicilian cannoli, tiramisu, panna cotta, babà with limoncello, strudel or profiteroles - Coffee and liqueurs After 2-3 hours of teamwork, we can enjoy our masterpieces at dinner accompanied with good Italian wine. During the dinner, I will tell you more about the origin of the dishes. We finish dinner or lunch with good Italian liquor and an espresso coffee.

Enormously instructive and cozy evening in Italian cuisine. We got to learn how to make pasta from scratch, get an insight into Italian everyday life and its wonderful flavors 🥰 Thanks Michele too and for a fantastic evening!

we experienced a cozy evening together with Michele and Wanda. We cooked together and were allowed to eat fine Casoncelli. The whole thing was framed with a fine starter followed by dessert. Wine and limoncello were also plentiful. We really enjoyed it.

Very welcome from Michele and his wife. We had opted for a cooking course with tagliatelle with gorgonzola and nuts, it was an unforgettable culinary experience. Special mention for their command of French, go there with your eyes closed

This was one of the best cooking classes I have taken. I went as a solo, expecting others, but it was just me! Michele and his wife Wanda opened their home and I got a private lesson making Casoncelli. The wine and food were great but the best was being able to spend time with them. I will be making casoncelli upon my return to the States. It was a wonderful experience.

what a wonderful cooking experience at Michele kitchen’s was. Actually, this cooking experience was my birthday gift from my sweet heart ❤️Francesca❤️. It was really a wonderful surprise for me which i was not expecting. Moreover, Michele and his wife’s has a very traditional way to organise this cooking class. It gives a homely feeling and you will really experience the authentic Italian 🇮🇹 cuisine. Obviously, Michele is expert in cooking 🥘 and we had a great learning experience there. We had the pleasure of participating in a truly special cooking class with Michele, and it exceeded all our expectations. The communication beforehand was smooth and efficient, with quick responses. Michele also took the time to ask about any allergies or intolerances in advance. We were given the opportunity to choose a main dish from a variety of options, and we decided on tagliatelle Bolognese—a dish we’ve made many times at home but were eager to learn the authentic way to prepare it. From the moment we arrived, Michele warmly welcomed us into his home. We instantly connected, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. After a welcome drink, we got straight into cooking. It was so much fun, and we learned so many new things—like how to reduce the acidity of sauces (surprisingly, not with sugar!) and how to soften the texture of a Bolognese. We even picked up a lot of new tricks for making fresh pasta dough and our favourite tagliatelle. Michele was patient and took his time with us, ensuring the experience was laid-back and enjoyable. Once the cooking was done, we were served a delicious appetizer, followed by our masterpiece—the tagliatelle Bolognese. It was simply divine! The meal was perfectly rounded off with a delightful panna cotta for dessert. Throughout the day, Michele recorded little video snippets, which he later turned into a beautiful video for us to cherish as a memory of this fantastic experience. A huge thank you to Michele for making this such a memorable day. We can’t wait to recreate these dishes at home and will definitely book another class the next time we’re in Bergamo!

We met Michele for a bachelorette weekend. He loves to cook and to show to others what is the Italian cuisine. Thanks to him we had a very good time and we learnt a lot. I can’t tell you how was the pasta… mama Mia !!!!!!!!!

Just a superb evening creating delicious food and warm memories. I made ravioli with a delicious but simple sauce...that I already made once at home and I already bought the ingredients to make the recipe at home.
