5.00It was a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed it! All the crew were so friendly and lovely. Shout out to DK for leading the group in the water- he was really good in showing us around getting us close to the turtles! Added bonus was the great photos/videos he took. Definitely recommend!

5.00We visited Rarotonga in the last week of March 2026 and decided to try the sea scooters, hoping we might spot a turtle or two… we ended up seeing plenty! The team at Moana Sea Turtles were fantastic—friendly, professional, and very focused on safety from start to finish. You spend about an hour in the water, and the experience is incredible. Swimming alongside turtles, rays, and other marine life was something we won’t forget anytime soon. As long as you follow the guidance of your tour and safety guides and stay with the group, you’re in for an amazing and memorable adventure. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Rarotonga!

5.00What an experience - if you think the scooters are too technical and that puts you off - give it a go! You’re given all the time and guidance you need to get these babies humming in the water (just don’t wear loose clothing cos these little machines will quite literally peel them slowly off your body or quickly depending on the speed you want your scooter to go at) - guides 10/10 - turtles 100/10 - safety 1000/10 - well worth the money and all the amazing photos downloaded to your phone straight after - go do it - you won’t be disappointed.

5.00It was an amazing experience, the guides were so nice and friendly they took us to the passage where many turtles were and the scooters were very fun and easy to use within the water this is a must do activity and moana sea scooters make it a 10 out of 10 experience.

5.00Fun filled adventure professionally run with our safety paramount and turtles safety emphasised. The scooters enabled my husband a poor swimmer to swim alongside turtles and we both thoroughly enjoyed this once in a lifetime experience.

5.00Awesome experience. We only had four in our group with three staff looking after us. The scooters are so easy to use and we felt very safe as the current was quite strong. We are fairly good swimmers but it made a difference. We saw multiple turtles and got some great photos of our interaction. The guys were very caring and friendly. A nice snack at the end was provided.

5.00This was the best thing we did during our trip. The team could not have taken better care of us we felt so safe the entire time. We were very lucky to see so many turtles it was really special. The guys took so many videos and photos which were sent to us immediately. After seeing other tours out there at the same time im glad we chose to go with Moana Sea Scooters
