Our guide, Robert, was full of facts about the castle and its history. He made the information informative as well as humorous. The tour gave a fantastic overview whilst allowing us to continue to explore after the tour had finished.

A detailed ,well organised tour with an articulate and entertaining tour guide. We found out so many interesting historical facts from Jacobite rebellion to world wars. To the Scottish crown jewels to the dark times of persecuting witches. The views were spectacular and we were able to walk round each building in our own time. Wrap up warm on a crisp December afternoon. Highly recommend.

The guide was very knowledgeable and patient with a great sense of humour. While it was not great weather , he kept us engaged and engrossed and patiently answered all questions as well. A good tour that I would definitely recommend

Took the tour in November & we were lucky with the weather & with James our guide! Agree with most, on selecting correct shoe wear, as the climb & the cobbles are a task. James was very good in his role as a guide, providing the information in a entertaining fashion which was well received by all & unlike other guides we past along the way. Definitely worth the trip!

Robert was fantastic! The meeting point was very easy to find, he was very kind and knowledgeable. Our tour was very fun and it ended a little earlier than expected so Robert let us all know he would stay longer in case any of us had questions or wanted to hear any stories!
