Robert was fantastic! The meeting point was very easy to find, he was very kind and knowledgeable. Our tour was very fun and it ended a little earlier than expected so Robert let us all know he would stay longer in case any of us had questions or wanted to hear any stories!

Guide who spoke excellent English, easy to understand. history of Scotland and sovereigns. Don't expect to see a royal castle, it's a military fortress.

Fantastic knowledgeable guide, gave the group of friends a great experience! We were six friends on a trip, two from Sweden and four from Norway. Laura had a wonderful experience and good knowledge of Scotland and the history of Edinburgh Castle. Should you book a tour with a guide, Laura is highly recommended! She even knew that the wood was from Norway.

James was a fun and engaging tour guide and never stopped being entertaining and educational. We never hesitated to ask any questions and he would answer them with zest and quirkiness. Definitely recommend this tour.

Edinburgh Castle is definitely a must-see. it’s such an iconic and important part of the city’s history. However, my experience with the guided tour was a bit underwhelming. The group was quite large, and it was sometimes hard to hear the guide or stay engaged. There were moments where the explanations dragged on for a little too long, and by the time we were told to explore, it wasn’t always clear where to go or what we were supposed to see next. Still, the castle itself is incredible, and I’d recommend visiting; perhaps with a smaller group or on your own with an audio guide for a better experience.

This was a fun, fact-filled tour. Robert was entertaining and very knowledgable about the history of Scotland and the monarchs. We had time at the end of his tour to explore the various buildings and museums inside the castle. Highly recommend!
