Wonderful history! Great tour guide, Graeme, with a charming personality who shared his wealth of knowledge as a man born and raised in Edinburgh. I feel like he covered most of the big stories and topics from Scotland's history in 90 minutes, and made it engaging and fascinating.

Max is a great guide. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the castle. He delivers tons of information in an entertaining way. Even if we can’t remember half of the facts, we will remember the experience as being wonderful. Definitely recommend this tour!

Would highly recommend the tour of the castle with Viator especially if you are lucky enough to have Ben as your tour guide. He gave us a very warm welcome and was a breath of fresh air. He was articulate, passionate and very humorous. He was very understanding with those people with mobility issues and put them at ease. The terrain was a bit steep at times and he made sure everybody was ok. We learnt alot from him that day and would definitely like to do the tour again. Well worth the money. Thanks Ben and Viator.

Being an Icelander I had no Idea what to expect from the castle but knew I would like it since our heritage connect through vikings blood. This was so great and being on a after lunch tour with Naomi that started at 2.00 made it so much eazier to run quickly through the best museums because she burns for the history so I didn.t have to read all the story as I passed them one after the other. I was mostly sad because I wanted to soak myself in the best stuff as quickly as possible so that I could sit down and drink coffee with the good view. Well... by the time I finished which was 16: 45 the coffee house had closed. I almost lost tears to miss that. But I so loved it over there and I will deffinetly come back later and that time I will come just for the coffee and catch up on some more historical wisdom from Naomi.
