You will be guided through the grounds of Edinburgh Castle. It is worth to note that we can not take you inside any of the Caste Buildings (no tour operator can) but we will give you the rich history of the Castle, it's place in Scottish history and many of it's more unusual tales so that after the tour you will be able to explore the Castle with a much deeper understanding than a casual visitor.

Georgia was an amazing guide, her story telling was full of imagery and suspense building! It was a great tour to not only learn about the castles history, but scoland's as well. The tour length was the perfect length.

There is quite a bit of walking uphill but definitely worth the effort. Our guide, Ben, was knowledgeable and funny. We had a great time.

The castle is amazing ! A huge formidable structure with amazing views of Edinburgh . A fantastic amourtof history everywhere you look . A number of amazing museums to explore . I would suggest at least two and a half hours to really take it all in. The only caveat I would offer is to make sure your guide speaks English clearly . We ended up with a guide company called ( I think ) little fish and our guide Max warned us in the beginning that he spoke very fast . We found that to be very true and between his accent and supersonic speak speed I understood only about half of what he was saying . Max was a great guy but just needs to slow down and speak more clearly

Good tour, we had Max as our guide. He was funny and informative and kept it interesting. The walk up the hill to castle wasn't too bad and the your overall was worth it.
