1.00While I understand there is a no cancelation policy, however when the customer is unable to participate in the tour due to something that is 100% beyond the control of the customer I think this company can at least give a partial refund. My cruise ship was unable to dock due to weather conditions. I was in no way was responsible for this so I don’t think it is right for the company to profit and keep 100% my money off of this circumstance that I could not control. I can understand not getting a full refund, but half would certainly have been fair given the unique circumstances. Any reputable company would have taken this into account. This one didn’t…so beware with who you are dealing with.

5.00We scheduled a half day private tour to Tantallon Castle from Edinburgh. Experienced Tours were very prompt with email replies, always answering all questions, super easy to book with, and were amazingly helpful. Sandy, our awesome tour guide picked us up at our hotel right on time. He was dressed in a traditional Scottish kilt and could not be more knowledgeable, humorous, and charming. Sandy provided us with so much history and facts in a fun and engaging manner. He really listened to what we found interesting and even made a detour to another site after chatting with us knowing we would enjoy the side trip. He was absolutely correct and really added to an already great tour. Please, spend the extra few dollars/pounds on a private tour. It is so worth it considering we had the tour guide all to ourselves, comfortable transportation with just our family without being rushed along to get back to a bus. Sandy took us to a charming local restaurant for lunch along the seashore. He pointed out all sorts of interesting facts and tidbits while driving through the county side. The whole family had an amazing experience and I would highly recommend you book with Experienced Tours. The entire experience was great from the planning to being dropping back off at our hotel. 10/10

5.00Tour by minivan to the sights of Edinburgh. The tour guide had a very extensive knowledge of the city and its history. In 4 hours you get to know the most important buildings. In case of changeable weather it is highly recommended to do the tour with a vehicle.

5.00My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our half -day tour of Edinburg with Hazel. We had come in on a cruise ship, and this tour was a nice departure from the big bus tours. She was able to take us places the large busses can't/don't go. We definitely want to come back and spend even more time in this beautiful city! Thanks again.

5.00Calais was an incredible host and guide. He had almost genius level insight and understanding about the history of the city. I learned a ridiculous amount in such a short period of time and was amazed by the experience. The Van was almost new. And the communication pre-tour was flawless. I also note how organic the experience was, I felt a level of care and pride - not the focus on the dollar like other operators I have experienced. So, well done team! I would thoroughly recommend and I will definitely be using them again when I return with the family in the future.

5.00Calais is the perfect tour guide. He is knowledgeable and shares this in a fun and engaging way. We saw everything we’d asked to see and then some hidden gems. A bracing walk up Carlton Hill was worth it for the stunning views; the storm the day before and the sleet meant we had it almost to ourselves. I highly recommend this as a great way to get an overview of the city, also, Calais is a very safe driver
